ok this is a user profile setting, enter your user cp, then edit options then look for the last setting: message editor interface. If it's set to basic thats why you can't see the smilies choose one of the other two.

All the old avatars can be found here: Avatars They aren't really named anything useful though so you'll probably have to check through them all to find yours.

Yes limits like that will be changed as I go through all the settings. Just haven't had the time to yet.

Almost forgot, for those you have that don't have your avatars anywhere, I do still have copies of them all. I'll put up a link later that contains all the avatars I have from the old software.

The k340's can be fairly uncomfortable, you could try adding some extra padding to the headband. That should alleviate some pressure from your ears.

Ok you see the thread list then, look at the last post column. Click the little arrow next to the username and it takes you to the most recent post in the thread. Not that hard .

Welcome to the new migrated forums everyone. There's a few new features and a few things are a work in progress. Let me get to the work in progress things first, user profiles didn't migrate everything over correctly so make sure to check your profiles and make sure they are ok. Also you'll notice on imported posts that embedded media (think youtube links, etc) aren't embedded. I will probably edit and fix them as I see them but don't expect them to all get fixed any time soon. On to the new features, we now have a fully integrated chat room feature. It will automatically log you in via your forum login info. There's also an improved downloads section which I'll be adding more stuff too shortly. There is an embedded media function here still, though it functions a bit differently. Still works the same way for posting though, just post the link with no bbcode and it will get parsed/displayed automatically. I will be adding a new front page shortly it will be similar to the old portal system with one key difference, it's only going to be a front page none of the side bars will be in place on the forum pages. Oh yeah I still need to re-add the HC logo too . If anyone is having problems with the password reset function, please send your username and desired password to: [email protected] and I'll take care of it.

I have temporarily disabled new user registration until the migration to the new forum software is completed on Friday.

I upgraded the 60gig hd in my ps3 tonight to a 250gig and word to the wise for anyone else planning to upgrade the hd be very careful with the screws. The four holding the drive in the cage were way overtightened. I ended up having to use a pair of pliers to get them started turning. The screws are also very soft and the heads strip very easily.

i don't think empirical does much modding anymore these days, from what i gather they are focusing mainly on their own products vs modding other stuff at this time.

The problem with US politics is the utter lack of good choices. It's been quite awhile since the best and brightest of the US have had any interest in being politicians and it's starting to show.

I've ran a few tests and the downtime will *probably* be around 2 hours but don't hold me to that. Also just a reminder that the photo galleries, avatars and attachments will not get migrated over. I'll still have all the data though if someone needs something retrieved.
