The only serious possible hold-up could be Verizon's instance on using it's own appstore, or some version of the pre's store that verizon has total control over. Still plenty of time before January to get that all sorted out though
sure lots to do, visit the various Carnegie museums and/or the Cargnegie science center, the warhol museum, etc.
oh and for eating, i think it's required that all visitors eat at Primanti Bros at least one.
The only difference between the quick and normal is that after nuking the partition tables the normal format also runs a scan checking for bad sectors. This of course takes longer the bigger the drive is, and trust me there's a lot of sectors on 2TB drives .
You should have done the quick format, normal formats take forever on large disks, especially when the array is also probably still initializing in the background. I haven't done a normal full NTFS format in years. Any particular reason you didn't want to install Linux on this server? I'm a pretty big fan of Windows but for like a simple as a file-sharing box a stripped down Ubuntu Server or CentOS install would make a ton of sense.
I'll agree with that, at this point it's pretty clear that the two party system is broken. I honestly think we'd be much better off without it at this point. The way it is now it's just the two national parties dishing out their money to the senate/congressional races they think they can win with the goal of getting a majority and pushing their own agenda through. Anyone who thinks either party has their best interests in mind are sadly, sadly mistaken.
Very good and important point, the 24-hour news channels have destroyed the media IMO. Each one is only concerned with ratings so when there aren't real stories they turn useless shit into stories and sensationalize it as much as possible. It's quite sickening really.
e-mail notifications are working fine and i'm not getting any bounce-back emails from them either. so check your spam or stop using the crappy apple email service .

Pretty damn cool vision for a future tablet/booklet pc. If the final devices are even close to as responsive as the video shows I'll be very impressed.
