Not aware of any measurements for this one yet, but just from watching the blacks certainly seem black enough too me. The reason I went with the samsung is that it was less expensive than the comparable panny vt20/25 by a pretty large margin.

Dinny, I found your issue and can confirm it, if you are under your usercp looking at subscribed threads the last post button currently takes you to the first post of the thread. This bug has actually been reported to vBulletin already so it should get fixed eventually.

Sorry about that, I forgot that every update replaces the file that lets you choose between the forums or the cms as the entry point and by default it's set to the cms, it's fixed now though.

Hey All, I updated to vB 4.04 today, it has a few useful features which I'll be exploring in the near future, one is a built-in image resizer (that should work across all parts of the site including albums) so I no longer have to rely on shitty plugins for that. Secondly the folks behind vBulletin finally got their heads outta their asses and have created a tool that makes creating new themes extremely easy. I will post more about themes in the near future.

Well for the green drives performance wise they do suck, but I was speaking more toward reliability. The failure rates for the green drives seems to be significantly higher than other SATA drives that and they don't play well with certain raid cards.

RAID is still very useful, but I do agree that the green drives aren't the best choice for a raid environment.

Actually you don't want to overspec a PSU by too much, you want it to be operating at around at least 50% of it's capacity otherwise you won't be getting anywhere close to the rated efficiency.

A new HD might be a better idea, especially if the current one is only 5400rpm.

How expensive is it? Do you actually find yourself running low on memory? Is there a reason you think you need more memory, for example is something running slow or acting sluggish?

have you tried running malwarebytes in safe mode yet?

instead of trying to stop it before it opens at boot, just boot into safe mode to download the malwarebytes software.

If surfing and emailing is really all you do online then the 3mbit service should be fine.

Glad you guys/gals all had fun. My weekend ended up pretty much sucking, I had to go to Ashburn, VA for work on Friday and didn't get finished till Saturday afternoon. This was for a pretty sizable hardware install 2 full cabinets in a clients datacenter. Now this was supposed to be a job that the client was installing themselves, but nooo they waited till Thursday morning to tell us that their IT guy had quit two weeks ago and would need us to install it. Color me pissed/sad

Yep iPad should work now, as should any Android 1.5+ device.

Supported devices at release time hasn't been confirmed yet but expect at least iphone and itouch, with possibly the ipad as well. I except android and blackberry computability to be added in the near future. Update - I was able to get in on the beta for the mobile chat. It'll take you to a login page if you aren't already logged in, so go ahead an login and then on the next page click the "Click to Start Chat Room" icon/link and you should be taken to the chat room.
