  1. Postjack = anti Nate Good to hear your positive vibes for the 4s
  2. Ah, no I did not. Thanks.
  3. Has anyone had a chance to try out the iTunes wifi sync? I plugged the phone into power, computer is on, both connected to same wifi network, but the sync button remains greyed out...
  4. Yup that is how I read it as well, and it even states that the three amps drive the passive crossovers in the earpieces. The amps are adjusted through eq. Basically it is not at all what was advertised at can jam and is a completely different concept as far as I am concerned.
  5. So are the crossovers in the earpieces, or in the adaptor? Also, I could have swore that the whole sonic draw to the amp was that it would be using active crossovers.
  6. I am a airport express user/convert and love the convenience of it. My iTunes library is my primary source of files, and with iPad/iPhone it makes playing music fast and easy. SQ to me seems perfectly fine.
  7. Sounds like the srx mk3 is a nice stat option for a gradohead. Though I do find the hp1000 share a similar organic tonality with the sr007 without sounding as "muted" as others have called it, and the hp1000 is definitely more forward.
  8. I concur. It is debatable if a 16 year old even needs something like an iphone. Plenty of free options.
  9. Is there a windows program equivalent out there?
  10. I doubt it, that is just how Joe is, he is very "confident" in his hp1000 and his new mic, to say the least. He did say if you do not want to bother with the hp1000 and getting any issues resolved that you should just get johns sr125 and flat pads and that should be ok
  11. The ps500 sounding anything like the ps1 or hp1000 will be akin to how the ps1000 was supposed to sound like the ps1. Unfortunately that was not the case. I do think there is some genuine competitiveness but it's been stated by closer sources than me that John and Joe do have a very mutual respect for each other, moreso from John towards Joe. I think there are some practical issues that also prevent John from doing anything like a hp1000, specifically sourcing the driver and manufacturing costs. If they currently charge $700 for rs1 build quality and $1000+ for gs1000 and ps1000 build quality, what would a hp1000 potentially cost?
  12. I can say pretty confidently that as long as Joe Grado is alive and still doing his own thing with his mics and hp1000 upgrades, John will never release anything resembling a hp1000. I would state that it's probably more out of respect for his uncle than a competitive thing (though I would not dismiss somewhat of a chip on johns shoulder, heck Joe in conversation told me he never ever listened to any of johns stuff and won't bother).
  13. I never knew the HF2 majored in accounting. I am sure the hp1000 or ps1 are not completely off the table.
  14. Odd. Whether it be the particular vintage or that I've used exclusively flats, they have never sounded shrill to me. If anything, at times they can be quite fuzzy, in a warm, Teddy bear cuddly kind of way.
  15. The hf2 is a nice alternative if you are not into the rs1 or don't want to pony up for a ps1 or hp1000. Like Jacob the hp1000 is my favorite can making any other Grado pretty irrelevant to me outside the random taste for some rs1 flavor.
  16. The same could be said about the HF2
  17. Is moon audio the sole distributor? Did not see it on TTVJ nor does he have a thread about it.
  18. I wouldn't bother. The rs2 is basically a handicapped very compressed in your face version of the rs1. Whereas the rs1 has legitimate soundstage, the rs2 is basically in your face and just sounds compressed. It's like someone took a pile of crap and smashed it in your face. The rs1 is way more refined sounding, and actually has a nice openness in comparison to the rs2.
  19. Lagunitas sumpin sumpin
  20. Yup, I've been paying attention to making sure I had a midfoot strike, though I will say it kind of occurs naturally the way the shoe is that you land with your midfoot.
  21. Picked up a pair of the NB minimus trails, really nice shoes. Did a light run today, felt pretty good. There definitely is some increased stress on the foot and calf, but my lower back, which used to always ache after running, feels great.
  22. Gu sensei = awesome 1st post. Welcome and the graphs are great.
  23. Yay! Glad you got your money back!
  24. No warranty. Will check with logitech.
