  1. Sounds like something from stargate
  2. You've won this round...
  3. We could have bought digg, and spammed the hell out of users to join head case.
  4. Told you Justin. Oooh in addition to DIY kits, you should also offer fully assembled versions as well...oh wait...
  5. Oooh you should offer DIY kits for all your amps - that would make the HF happy.
  6. Craig typically uses high quality parts where it actually counts. Active stage resistors, coupling caps, output transformers, anything within the signal path, etc in my experience Craig uses good stuff. The tube sockets, which are his own design, are the last thing you should question. However, it does appear you are just piggybacking off of random HF comments and PMs do whatever.
  7. You rock! I am sure you will have a fine cake to celebrate.
  8. Billy is that you? He was another loller
  9. The k1000 and hp1000 are as different and polar opposite on the tonal balance scale IMO. Using a cooler version of the DSHA1 myself.
  10. spaghetti and butter with chicken sausage
  11. Got a call from joe Grado today, left me a nice message. My cans are done and are sounding "superb" - he is running them in through the weekend and will send them out early next week. Woo hoo! 6 months and some change.
  12. The net is meant to protect the driver from debris. Just be careful with hair. I would check for grattle, I use a bass frequency cd and cycle down from around 100 hz to check, low level.
  13. Wife got me an iPad 3 for fathers day. It is amazing. I can actually see detail in the screen. My iPad 1 is quite lonely. That is all. Oh never truly realized how sluggish the 1 can be.

  16. Ok at least I dont feel bad no one wished me a happy bday
  17. Iron chef America just did a show with mangalitsa pig. Yummy.
  18. Good to hear you enjoyed the DSHA-1. I agree with your impression that it seems to convey musical qualities that are typically associated with both tubs/SS, which means its a well designed and thought-out amp.
  19. Comply.
  20. Oh yeah the 535 is a huge step up from the e500. I agrees about the msrp and was able to get them on HF but with all the tips unused.
  21. I just picked up some shure se535, and was able to test them out today at the soldier field 10 mile run. I am very impressed, as I used to own the e5, e500, and e530, with the development. The ergonomics are perfect, and are more comfortable than my jh13's after 3 refits were. The shape of the shell seems to have been tweaked to really sit flush inside against your ears, there are some subtle curves that seen to make all the difference from the previous models. Isolation was good using the clear silicone things that were more about convenience putting in. The earpieces swivel freely from the cable insert which is brilliant. The cable and shell build quality is substantial. The sound I found very smooth and linear, no crazy bass humps and the highs nicely detailed yet controlled, I would say more of a pro/monitor sound. Extremely happy, even more amazed at the comfort achieved by a universal and I haven't even played with any of the tips yet.

The heels 6 guy is really easy to work with on custom stuff. He made me a 4 pin xlr headphone extension for sub BJC price

I concur on all the above recommendations.
