The BD proto I had for awhile appeared to have more bass and just a ballsier sound. Not sure if that fits your definition of livelier

I've been going to dougs a while now maybe 1x a month. Considering he could easily have maximized profit by having longer hours, not taking random vacations whenever he feels like it, or even franchised it (holy smokes that would make a killing), I believe money is not an issue nor is it a priority. He really just seems like a normal laid back dude who simply wants to do something else with his life.

The spigen film one is fantastic. It's coated with something that makes it hard as plastic and on my wife's phone it went on super easy. Have no idea why it failed on mine

Thanks guys for the spigen tough armor rec - it's perfect. Not bulky at all but pretty solid feel and seems well protected. I got the metal slate color and it matches the overall design of the phone pretty closely. Unfortunately my luck with the spigen film protectors didn't go so well...came in a 3 pack, got my wife's on the first try, but the last 2 attempts on mine were disastrous, just ripped them off and said "why bother".

The headband squareness does seem to help with weight distribution and proper clamping and it is very light feeling and comfortable. It just looks ridiculous (refer to pic). My isolation test is go in bathroom, turn on fan, what does it sound like. Pretty good on my end.

Postie, the headband stretches out left to right about as wide as I have ever seen in a can, it's essentially horizontal and square like with the actual enclosures. My guess is the larger your head the more normal it looks like. Pointy heads like me plus bald equals ridiculousness. Comfort wise it's great, excellent weight distribution across the whole headband so it feels really light all across.

Leaning towards the spigen tough armor as well, as well as the glass screen protector. Thanks guys.

What are you guys using for a case and/or screen protector? My 5 has been naked for awhile (just a glass screen protector) and after seeing the wife shatter hers recently I should start getting serious about protecting it.

Thanks. The picture captures maybe 50% of its true ridiculousness. With my particular head shape it really looks like a square, the headband extends out that horizontally, similar to the way the akg1000 looks on most folks.
