For anyone that is interested and has the time, I could use your ears and eyes to help me out. I am getting another Stansell uke, and am going back and forth between these two: The first one is very figured Myrtle top back and sides with ebony binding, board, bridge, and headplate. The second one is very figured black walnut top back and sides with myrtle binding, board, bridge, and headplate. Below is a video with audio clips. Thanks guys! Doug that video is hilarious - I like her little intro. This was a nice weekend! I got to eat a lot of meat with John Bryan and mike. Oh and stoop dark lord is the best. Sunday the family went into th city, millennium park; Maggie Daley park, and we ate at a Texas barbecue place in west loop called greet street smoked meats where I had more meat. I shall take head case crew there next time, it was fun and pork belly. Today is more pork with cake.

Glad you guys got in on the deal - I have to tell you, these things are super impressive. Great treble and midrange, tons of bass, it gets bass-i-rific in my room. And, they have the little DIP switches on back to tailor the response, you can set the bass cutoff, treble cutoff points, there is a lot of versatility in the EQ to get it just right in your room. Mine are running flat, but I could probably trim the bass if I wanted to make it linear. Nah, just kidding, I like the bass.

Hi! A few weekends ago, we visited my wife's grandma's house for a final time, as she was recently admitted into a home, and they are going to have an estate sale. This was a chance for the grandkids to sort of go through and pick any momentos they wanted. I thought it would be nice to take home her grandma's old vinyl and possibly play it a bit. I am not a vinyl guy at all, nor do i see myself really getting into it. So all I am looking for is a very cheap, small space, functional vinyl rig that my wife can listen to her grandma's old records.

This uke is the real deal. As a classically-trained instrumentalist (violin) and vocalist, the instrument is darn perfect. The intonation literally is perfect all the way up the fretboard, and the tone is so darn consistent throughout the range. Great dynamics too, it plays very soft without losing its tone, but you can really drive it home without it breaking up. This is a tenor, curly myrtle back and sides, by Mya-Moe.
