Are Netbooks Good for Music?

I bought an EEE 900 off a friend and I was satisfied enough with it to sell my laptop. The 4GB thing doesn't really matter to me since my files/music's on my server. -
How does a recabled ESP950 compare with the LNS/Omega2 when it comes to vocal realism? I'm considering upgrading from my SR-Lambda.

I might be speaking out my ass but if your kid grows up with classical music, he/she might get too used to it/sick of it and then eventually get into the bad modern music. It's kinda like how I grew up with the mainstream stupid pop in the 90s and hated music until I bothered to discover "real" music.
