I suspect you had more than 2720 calories yesterday. There are 3500 calories per pound of body fat. In order to lose a pound, you need to cut 3500 calories or burn them by working out. Additionally, you had over 110 grams of fat or about 5 ounces nearly half a can of soda. you should think about eating healthier and at minimum keep your daily calories under 2000, if not 1750.

i am drawn to this thread, it's magnetic, and feeling the static gives me a charge. How long will it last? One can reasonably expect on the order of 10,000 such "squeeze cycles" during the lifetime of a Zerostat 3 unit, although the typical Zerostat 3 will last much longer, sometimes as long as up to 50,000 trigger squeezes. The Zerostat 3 needs no batteries or electrical supply nor does it contain any radioactive components. if you have an older one it might not last as long or offer the same number of effective squeezes.

i had static charging issues with my TT until i got the Funk Firm - Achromat 5mm, which has substantially reduced those static pops and crackles by more than 95%. it's now a non-issue and my only static tweak and they also offer a 3mm one, but since you have a Rega TT, you might consider their platter. though, i've not used the platter and don't know if it also curbs static. the mat is not even sold as a static tweak that's just one benefit besides the sonic improvements. i haven't found these discounted anywhere, but make sure you have a right of return. i have demagnetized CDs and the effects were short lived -- first play into the first track they started to fade and after a few tracks they were practically gone.
