I've been to three Five Guys locations in So Cal (Carson, Cerritos, and TO) numerous times. While I've only been to the Thousand Oaks location three times, it is my least favorite by a large, large margin. The Cerritos location is completely on another level plus they consistently deliver.
no, i wanted to post that video and not just the link so i needed to copy how it was done and only afterwards did i realize that i couldn't remove the original poster's title.
If you didn't know, Kerrygold also makes incredibly good butter (available at Trader Joe's in Cali) and even their aged cheddar (Cali Costco) is absolutely phenomenal. When I was eating dairy, we'd get their stuff all the time...
sounds interesting... never heard of wet aging a steak before. what benefits does it offer and are there any health risks, especially if you like it medium?
just got back from a late night dinner at Honda Ya Izakaya - Downtown - Los Angeles, CA.
i had grilled blackened cod, stir fried spinach and garlic, shrimp tempura, bacon-wrapped asparagus, japanese beef with mushrooms, pork belly, ginkgo nuts, california roll, and yams with shark fin plum sauce.
Sounds like a fun time, really wish I lived closer...
BTW, I just visited Craig's website for the first time in a long time and was surprised to read he is discounting the Zana Deux SE.
