  1. not for another 24hrs; keep priming billy.
  2. You have no idea what TC stands for.
  3. only screw with one thing at a time
  4. run 8 for 24hrs run coretmp; it will give you the delta to Tjunction value (how close you are to total core meltdown, or its equivalent) 71 in chitown now means 81 during "taste of chitown" which means your 65 will become 70 or more (depending on how dusty your machine becomes). For your ambient temp I would shoot for sub 60
  5. just the right amount of computing power for itune Did you prime all 8 virtual cores for 24hrs with small FFTs ? What's your temp delta to Tjunction? 65 does sound high for 45nm core, especially when it's already super cold in Chitown (i.e. your ambient temp isn't that high)
  6. I had a semi-low serial numbered K701 (in the 4200s) before replacing it with the K501. I think K701 is trying to be too many things to too wide of a demographic. I thought K701 sounded great when I first got them (boy, did those glass breaking sound like they were next to me). However, over time I have come to realize I didn't reach out for K701 when I was actually listening to music. Not saying K701 is not musical, I just preferred other cans for the particular types of music I was trying to enjoy at any given moment.
  7. freq response of grados change depending on how you put them on your head. If you follow the Meier Audio method, the grado highs are almost complete gone, leaving you with a more neutral sound.
  8. Making copies of copyrighted material with an intent to mass distribute said material leaves a sour taste in my mouth. It's one thing to share copyrighted material for personal use; beyond fair use, mass distributing for the principal purpose of distributing to the general public is not kosher. I think losing the 3 drives was the best thing that could have happened to you, crappyjones123.
  9. only if you believe "good luck" was said in a sarcastic tone, unless it's a generally policy to add after phrase that began with "good luck with . . . " I and my colleagues have had it with Dell's famous Indian customer service reps. I tell ppl to avoid Dell if they can.
  10. good luck with Dell service.
  11. professional data recovery - expensive but if the data is worth the money
  12. wow. wife-approved!
  13. bummer; I was so counting on getting a touch for Christmas
  14. let me drive down to Wadia and check that out for your
  15. I am waiting for OLED to come down in price. From all the stuff I have read, it looks like OLED is the upgrade that can replace both LCD and plasma.
