He gets along well with the parrots?
  2. This is Shannen with my Cousin Michelle, sometime last year. She just happened to run into her at H.E.B. Said she was super nice. R.I.P. Shannen.
  3. I went to visit a good friend at her apartment building in Portland in 1990. While climbing the stairs to her floor, a little mouse, was sitting on a step. I was sure it'd run off as I got closer. I reached that step and the little mouse moved toward my foot. I put my hand down near it and it crawled right into my hand. I took it into my friends apartment. She grabbed a box, but didn't want to interact with my new friend. I knew that he must have been someone's pet, because he had no fear of people. I took him home, made him a temporary home in a bucket, and she put up a notice in her building. Nobody answered the notice, so I bought a proper cage. Had that little guy for about 2 years. Named him Machismo, after a local Mexcan fast food chain named Machismo Mouse.
  4. You could argue many for best male rock and roll vocalists, Robert Plant, Steve Perry, Niel Young, Paul Rogers, Rod Stewart etc... But for me it's always going to be Roy Orbison. Oh, and usually left out of this discussion by most, BJ Thomas and Eric Carmen.
  5. I haven't spun any vinyl oin a while now, but while organizing today I put this on...
  6. I can't think of Richard Simmons, without thinking about his appearance on Who's Line is it Anyway.
  7. I was just about to ask what film type was used.
  8. That looks great Grahame, though I don't seem to have much appetite in this heat. That's quite amazing, especially as it seems to cost $20 just walking through the door of Good Earth.

    Indeed!
  10. Ooh. I love Dream Academy. Of course I did live "Life in a Northern Town". 🙂 About as far North as you can get in the USA.
  11. Watching the restoration is as close as I'll ever get to a Rolex. Though my Brother that passed had one.
  12. Unicorn fat is the perfect thing to prevent rust. If you tickle them, that catches them off guard, then plunge the knife in!
  13. She had some mental health struggles, and some tough times. R.I.P. Shelly.
  14. My oldest Brother started balding in high school. The middle Brother in his late 20s. Needless to say I was constantly worrying about starting to lose my hair. Luckily for me I didn't do any thinning until after 50. Now I don't really care.

And you know what they say, you only see 1/10th of the iceberg above water!
  16. I believe the P.C. term is folically challenged.
  17. Dire Straits is one of my favorite bands, if not my favorite. Love all of their albums and Mark's solo stuff and collaborations as well.
  18. Ah yes. Brings back memories of Saturday nights at the gay bathhouse, Camp David, in Las Vegas in 1980.
  19. That goes for crotches too. I'm from the bushy generation, but a nice crew cut down under is quite refreshing. T.M.I.?
  20. Just for general info for the younger crowd, Dance With Me was originally released in 1973. You're Still The One in 1976.
  21. Love Dance With Me, and The Orleans. And Mikey 'You're Still The One' to remind us of great, forgotten music.
  22. I grew to like Jay Blades form 'The Repair Shop', and he's sometimes on this show.
  23. It's a British TV show, where they stop people at the dump (tip) and take the items they think they can recycle/upcycle. Then they take them to various crafts people to rethink/repurpose. In the end they revisit the original owners and hand over any profit generated. Kind of fun. Watching on YouTube.
