  1. Your dining room table must be getting very lonely.
  2. Texas, Florida... 6 of one, half dozen of another.
  3. I have no idea what a bong is. I was never exposed to such hooliganism. But if you did buy it and want to relive the glory days, I hear that filling it with Peppermint Schnapps cools the throat, and may have been a popular thing to do in the 70's. Obviously that would just be speculation on my part.
  4. Nice! Did Jeff make that sign?
  5. You can never be too sure with a guy that'll eat roasted squirrel tail pound cake.
  6. And I first thought that was prosciutto. . Although I guess that you could make prosciutto from British people?
  7. Had dinner with Dorothy and her Mom. She ordered what I thought was a gyro. Turned out to be the California version of a gyro, which has some kind of ground meat, salsa with peppers and it's on a tortilla. Awful! Call the damned thing a Greek inspired wrap or something else. It is not a gyro!
  8. You gents with the CNC routers can make one pretty easy.
  9. Uhm dude, your tortillas may have gone bad.
  10. There are generally 3 different types of crown molding. 38, 45 and 52 degrees. The Kreg jig has a tool to allow you to check what your particular spring angle is, then you set the jig to that angle. It simply holds the molding at the correct angle as you cut. Without the jig the crown tends to move slightly while cutting. A slight discrepancy can become a big gap pretty quickly. You still turn the crown upside down to cut. The hangers are new to me. I just discovered them, and since I'll be working alone, they'll make holding the crown in place so much easier!
  11. I'm definitely not a coffee aficionado, but I have recently grown fond of iced coffee. I finally got my measurements correct for making my own concentrate. Makes it simple to make a great iced coffee (usually with Irish creme) at any time.
  12. I regularly snap bands at my local HD. I have some crown molding to hang tomorrow, so I bought a few helpers...
  13. Wow, what a similar morning we've had! Except for the bike. And most of my miles were between the couch and the fridge. But other than that...
  14. It looks brand new! Grizzly makes a decent tool. However, I see them new online for $1,995.00.
  15. In an odd way that may have been a good thing. I've known a few people who've been injured from old, badly maintained power tools.
  16. I'm not sure it'd classify as an upgrade to most, but my favorite jigsaws are from Bosch and Makita. I'd recommend a barrel grip style for curves.
  17. To the theme of Sesame Street... "Shitty Festool jigsaw" One of these words is not like the others. One of these words just doesn't belong. One of these words is not like the others. Tell me now, can you guess which one?
  18. You'll be better off posting an ad asking about broken headphones. I'd also post on that other headphone forum.
  19. Yes. Buy some broken or janky headphones that you like the sound of on ebay or such. You're better off scavenging drivers than finding stand alone drivers to buy. Which brings to mind, I've always wanted to hear K1000 drivers in an over the ear headphone body.
  20. They wouldn't celebrate it this way on postjack's forum, but this will have to do.
  21. It doesn't look common to me.
  22. Come on gents, this is a great cause!
  23. Don't get me wrong. Properly maintained they work great. The problem is most are not.
  24. Oh yeah, I see him now.
  25. It's just too much open blade for my comfort. Not to mention that a lot of radial arm saws have a bit of slop.
