Well there's nothing to ba ashamed of as long as they match the curb feelers. (Hoping someone on here still remembers curb feelers.)

Happy Birthday!

Cue Aerius, cue Aerius.

Building your own sex toy belongs on another forum!
-
What are you powering with yours spritzer?
-
Yeah, a little RSAish, although I completely understand the desire. Sweet aesthetic!
-
Papa's got a brand new bag! Haaa!
-
Mmmm! Focals and tubes, very nice Renato! So you can enjoy an amp that you did not build as well huh? Though you'll probably have an urge to tweak it.
-
Very HeadAmpish, which is an alltogether good thing!
-
Oh that's much better! The dreaded Red X that just sits there when clicked upon. Thanks a lot! Oops, I spoke too soon. In the immortal words of Rosanne Rosanna Danna... "Never Mind".

I'm sorry, if you're not going to post pics you simply cannot bait us with the knowledge that you received any panels at all! Yeesh! Talk about your faux pas. Now Marc on the other hand did post pics of his new panels, and I want to say how absolutely yummy they look! We just have no way of knowing if Nate's are yummy too, or look like dog poo.
-
Stunning! So is it a BH or different design?
-
I just heard the same from the seller. Although he says that smeggy absolutely loves his pair, so I'm even more interested in hearing them. These drivers do not resemble the SFI drivers though. Although they're Orthodynamic, they have a different design altogether.
-
I'll be making solid wood face panels for these big boys. Maple with Pink Ivory heart shaped inlays. Marc did you want little Purple Heart daisy inlays as well? No extra charge.
-
I didn't technically buy them, I traded for them. A pair of NAD RP18. For those not up to speed in the Ortho world, these are rebadged Fostex T50 V1 Orthodynamic headphones. The Holey Grail of Orthodynamics!

I love my JT'ed β22, but my sources have always been pretty hot.

I think it's the Femto that Naaman is waiting on for our Buffalo builds. Me want bad after hearing his Buffalo mule.
-
My mistake. I knew you were quoting here, and I meant to type "the wording", not "your wording".

They hold these belt sander races at a little bar about 3 minutes from my house. They're wildly fun to watch, but people keep trying to get me to race my $400.00 sander that is a work tool. You should see some of the modifications some people do. http://www.beltsanderracing.net/beltsanderracingphotos.html The second set of pics is from my neighborhood bar.

My sole point was that we chose our battles on much more than human rights violations. My personal stand on Rwanda or Darfur are completely unimportant to my argument. So staying in Iraq long enough to see the implementation of a stable regime that we most certainly have helped to select is not in any way tied to the fact that Iraq is sitting on top of one of the worlds largest oil reserves? Hey pull my finger... no really pull my finger. Admirable? In the same way that a car salesman selling you a new car after your old hunk of junk dies is admirable. Necessary? After invading a country and laying it to waste, I'd be more inclined to go with this argument.

I take exception to the wording here. Your wording implies that this was left over from the past administration. Bush was firmly planted as our President when these attacks took place. It seems to me that Iraq and the Taliban are being looped together here, and they are two very different things. It still annoys the hell out of me when people put 911 and Iraq together as one and the same. And I also know that the polls you quote were when American's were bullshitted into believing that Iraq was stockpiling weapons of mass destruction. Let's do a little research into his popularity once this little detail was found to be false. We were lead into that war on false pretense.
-
While I don't agree that the Bush administration is solely to blame for not uncovering the 911 plot (Let's not forget that the Trade centers were attacked under Clinton's administration as well) , I do pretty much agree with everything else you've said. And I'm astonished that anyone can even try to downplay the utter failures of W's administration. No denying the atrocities committed by Saddam's regime, but why the hell do we have to be the worlds police force every time? This country cannot afford to right all the wrongs in the world. And let's be realistic here, we did not go to Iraq on a mission to help the oppressed. Surely you aren't that naive. If that were our real mission there would be several other invasions in other countries that we've turned our backs on. Darfur or Rwanda ring any bells? Oh wait they didn't have substantial oil reserves.

I dare to state that you don't have a flippin' clue what Sarah Palin has accomplished as the Governor of the State of Alaska! Your comments are certainly in response to the ridiculous media attempts at painting her to be the dittzy blonde that's more worried about her wardrobe than the business of politics. If you have some actual criticisms of her decisions at the helm of the State of Alaska I'd love to here them. But if your just basing your opinions from the media's less than newsworthy "Little Lady" campaign that's just ignorant. Why didn't the media comment on Barack's, Joe's or John's wardrobes? Because no one gives a shit, and why should that be different because the candidate is female? I'm actually ashamed of how the media has responded to a female VP candidate. I'd have expected them to take a female VP candidate seriously, and not focus on such ridiculous trivial crap. I assure you that she's quite adept at kickin' ass and taken' names.

Very well put, and I completely agree. A flat tax is not only fair, but much more efficient. But I agree with Nate that we'll never see it in our lifetimes.
-
Oh My God! That may very well become more controversial than this political thread. Are you prepared for the fallout? I must admit I'm with you here, but it may just be the two of us against the masses. Sorry Fitz!
