Two other versions of Son of a Preacherman that I've always enjoyed, by two Bobbie's... In fact this Bobbie Cryner album is a favorite of mine. Country, but not your standard Country. Jazz influenced for sure.

The Quad gear of that time certainly had it's own unique style. And those Celestion speakers were highly rated. I coveted the Celestion SL700 at that time. I also loved the Cyrus gear. I had a Mission CD player that I really loved.

Makita also has a newer 40vt system. Very good reviews on that system. But what I really like is that they're not abandoning their 18vt system. They're still issuing new tools on that and the 36vt (two 18vt) platform. But I'm not here to sway you. All are good systems. What I would do is list the tools that I'd like to purchase, then look at those tools on the various platforms. Then make my decision on the brand that had the features I liked best.

I am definitely a fan of team turquoise. They make a high quality tool. That being said, I have had a large number of tools by Bosche, DeWalt, Porter Cable and a limited number of Milwaukee tools in the past. My Milwaukee tools were limited because back then so were their offerings. I think most well known manufacturers today produce a quality tool. Previously I'd more commonly mix brands of corded tools. Today much less so, out of want for a single battery system. Makita has not produced a small jobsite cordless tablesaw, so I've bought a limited DeWalt battery grouping and charger and DeWalt cordless table saw. Because DeWalt makes a very good jobsite tablesaw and one of the largest batteries offered (15 ah), I'm OK about owning two battery systems. I doubt you'd be dissatisfied with Bosche, Milwaukee or DeWalt. Hilti also builds a very nice tool, but I'm less knowledgeable about their offerings. If a multi-tool is something you'd like in your arsenal, the Makita XMT04ZB vastly outperforms every other make out there IMO.

I've been on the receiving end of things around here too many times to not enjoy the occasional reversal. I still need to go through a pretty substantial pile of cabling/adapters and post them for those that might make use of them.

Should arrive Monday.

RIP Mr. Bennett. I especially loved your duets with my girl KD Lang.

Well my guess is that I'd choose a tune and stick with it. Most likely the flat setting. There's also an optional box that I believe has room correction among other things. I'm sure I'd opt for that. A system this basic appeals to me for a bedroom or office. My main system will for the foreseeable future consist of separates, incompassing an analog turntable and a CD transport, as well as a streamer.

These Buchardt Audio Anniversary 10 are supposed to be amazing. The bass is said to be phenomenal. Very low without being boomy. They're active, bluetooth and have an internal DAC and streamer. Future-fi. When I first saw them, I thought the woofer was blown out. $4,000 ish. Different tuning can be had through the App.

I built a tree bench/table. I'll cut plugs this weekend to cover the screws Monday. The surrounding ground will have artificial turf installed this weekend. The turf will extend up the box about 4". Monday I'll cover the PT 2" X 6" box with matching 3/4" Cedar.

This surprised me. I wouldn't have guessed that. Interesting for sure. Thanks Doug! -
But which one is the sub. one?

They were " too shy shy, hush hush."

Are there bananas within reach?

No, but I'll make a guess as to that guy's penis size.

I may check it out, though I feel that I've lived it. Well, minus the hijinks anyway.

I call this dish Batchelor Stovetop Casserole. It's a dish my Father and I developed together when I was around 20, and we were roommates for the first time.

I disagree. I think that's a pretty cool design.
