Audeze LCD-1 just landed!
Once you get out of the bank, go immediately to a FedEx location and ship the money to me. That way I can obtain a good lawyer if you get pinched. I would see to it that you get the best representation possible, just ask my wife Morgan Fairchild. Yeah, yeah that's it...Mo-o-organ Fairchild.

I agree, that is heartbreaking. As Nate said, that should be good as new though. Sorry Mike.

I just don't wear watches much anymore. But I saw this one and loved it. I like Rose Gold too, and thought it was a nice design, so I bought it too. Usually I'm pretty conservative, but I like ornate boxer shorts and watches. A guys gotta let loose a bit somewhere.

Misheard Lyrics
So I'm in the middle of a mundane sheetrocking job, and as such you tend to have some fun conversations. Today one of the subjects that popped up was misheard lyrics. One of my employees told me that he thought the line in Kenny Rodgers "Lucille" was "with four hundred children, and a crop in the fields". Where the line is actually "with four hungry children, and a crop in the fields". This got us laughing, and I admitted that when I was in high school I had thought that Neil Diamond's "Forever in Blue Jeans" was "Reverend Blue Jeans". I was actually disappointed to find out otherwise. So I thought it would be fun to find out what misheard lyrics my Head-Case buddies may have to share.

Watch Daily Deal, Watch Deal a Day Site- Audeze LCD-1 just landed!
I'm not the least surprised at the housing having such a large effect. That's what I discovered when building the Donuts, and also it seems ortho drivers don't like excess space, they seem to want a snug environment. The surprise to me is the thickness of the pads. Thanks for the comments. After hearing Marc's LCD-1, I'm pretty sure I'll have to buy the LCD-2.- 2009 Rocky Mountain Audio Fest & CanJam@RMAF
Be on the lookout for this man! He keeps candy in his pockets at all times, and even went so far as to steal Mr. Rodgers cardigan, in an effort to get closer to your children. If you see this man DO NOT attempt to apprehend him. He's been known to carry a Zu cable to hog tie his victims. If this man approaches you, immediately strike up a conversation about Bose noise cancelling headphones. This may be the only way to save your life!- DIY Mini Meet in Austin
I'm just teasing Marc at any rate. He really does have ample man space as is, and he's allowed to bleed over into the parlor/dining room. How many wives allow that?- HD800 Impressions
My Original 2008 MkII CDP. I can't imagine how good the addition of my incoming Buffalo32 will be. I may become a recluse.- DIY Mini Meet in Austin
Lookin' good Marc. That's definitely a good start on a man cave. I dare you to put a sign on the workbench that says 'Estrogen Free Zone'.- HD800 Impressions
Not to de-rail this thread (or re-rail as the case may be), but I had my first listen to the HD800 yesterday. Al brought his APS cabled 800s to Austin, and I had to plug 'em into the β22. This combo is remarkable! Al was gracious enough to lend them to me until the Houston meet on the 17th, so more to follow after I've had some time with them.- With what existential crisis are you grappling right now?
Excellent! Hope you enjoyed it!- Kitty Talk
Glad to hear he's getting better, and in a better mood. My cat slept on my feet all night, after I was gone for one night. The cat on my feet, and the dog next to my face...not a lot of REM, but kind of cool anyway.- What did you do today?
Jim Pemry slowly approaches with Hannibal's dinner tray.- Perfect songs.

Well you're not that far from Ireland, a stray leprechaun perhaps?- DIY Mini Meet in Austin
Dusty, surely you can understand my frustration at holding back here, but I'll take the high road.- DIY Mini Meet in Austin
Absolutely! I'll send a PM, but he's gonna whine about this! Just ignore him.- DIY Mini Meet in Austin
I tried to get you to make a cut with my worm drive saw, but you went all girlie. That would have been two manpoints. Al pulled up at the start of the workbench project, and jumped right in. 5 manpoints for Al! Marc now has the only workbench covered with Birch plywood as far as I know of. That's all Lowes had, but it makes a really nice, smooth work surface. In Marc's defense, he did manage to get his soldering iron into places Al and I couldn't even see, and saved both our butts in the process. 2 manpoints! - Deals
