Happy Birthday!

I bought a pair of these a few months back. They are indeed piezoelectric. They also are nothing to get excited about. Cool retro looks, but just a meh sound. I'll keep them for test phones.

He is a really cool guy. We definitely made him feel welcome. He may have even been a bit overwhelmed with gear choices. We'll expect you at the next one! You'll be expected to bring a violin and play for us though. One of Marc's friends stopped by and did just that. It was funny because Shelly and I were talking, then both looked over to see who had the awesome speaker rig, that sounded so real on violins.

That's cool! Your Uncle and I were comparing our K1000s. I think he liked them on the β22, and Shelly's Woo 300B amp. Her 300B didn't have enough power to drive the K1000 to good volume, but the bass was insane. I'm now officially interested in a 300B amp to contrast with my β22. We'll see how that pans out.

Gotta love the Pass amps. I haven't heard the F1 yet, but I've heard great things. Congrats!

Yeah, the clasp was an unexpected nice touch. I also was impressed with fit and finish. I happen to like a bulky watch on my overly muscular physic. I say we wear the Red leather jumpsuits the first time we go out!

I think it'd be useful to mic your room, and find out where the anomalies are. If it has that capability anyway. I like spectrum analyzers for that purpose. In either case EQs are fun to play with. You can even make Wayne Newton sound like he has testicles.

My Lucien Piccard arrived today. The Rose Gold one on sale a little while back. It had a supposed retail of $625.00, and was on sale for $69.00. It's a pretty nice watch! Definitely the nicest $70.00 watch I've ever bought. I've spent $700.00 ish on Seiko Lassales back in the day, and this feels better. Time will tell (pun intended).

I'd have followed him out and taken his keys away, if he'd tried to drive away. Some innocent person could've been badly injured or killed. I worked at a liquor store in Alaska in my early 20's, and all I can say is that those gentlemen were way more patient than myself. I'd have probably tied his ponytail to the door until the cops arrived.

Nate it appears that your digital luck may well be worse than Reks' amp luck. Once my DAC is built I'll have an extra CDP (Original 2008 MkII). You'd be more than welcome to keep it on extended loan, It may be a little while before I'm at that place though.
