Put together and installed double pocket doors. The company finally listened to me and bought good quality aluminum frames. No more warping wood frames rubbing against the doors.

Assuming the walnut back is 3/4" or so, I'd just screw 1 1/4" screws from the middle of the cleat straight into the back, every 6" or so.

All of Jeff's tools are carbon fiber and titanium, so ultra light weight. Al does make a good point about the extra screws into the sides of the case from the inside of the cleat. If you have one of these portable PS jigs, then you can still drill them in place.

The one cleat should be plenty. Just make sure it's secured with screws every 6" or so.
