And those probably aren't his real kids. Throw a biscuit to keep him occupied, while you check the Amber alerts.

    Audeze LCD-2

Very nice, thorough review Don. Much appreciated! It's less than a month now when I'll be able to listen to the LCD-2 myself, and I'm greatly anticipating that.
  13. Hmmm, an Ebony knob perhaps? I have a bit of scrap I could send to Nate for use on his fancy schmancy new lathe.

  15. You do realize that's like throwing peanuts to scare the squirrels away? Sometimes I feel my reputation on here is ill-deserved, it's simply that I'm so often baited like this.

    Post Your Pet

When I lived in the East Bay for a short time, I kept hearing about this Mt. Diablo. I kept wondering where it was, as people acted like it was close by. One day while driving to the City with a friend, he pointed it out and said "there's Mt. Diablo". I couldn't quit laughing. In Alaska I've driven up longer and steeper driveways.

    sick of head-fi

Because Sennheiser's tongue is up Jude's ass, and vice versa. Hmmm, maybe he'll find the stand I made them up there.
  21. That is going to be awesome smeggy! I really like the integral baffle, and the slot for the pad flanges. I can also see these being able to upgrade to a CamExpert LCD-2 style slotted grill. Way cool!

  23. Nah, the only DAC that matters is the Buffalo II.
  24. Listening to my Thunderpants for the first time. They arrived from Don's this morning. While I don't want to post any real impressions until I've had some ample listening time logged, I will say that I'm amazed by the bass they reproduce. Tight, fast and accurate bass. What's truly impressive is that the rest of the spectrum is in no way overpowered by this incredible bass. Alison Krauss 'A Hundred Miles or More' is almost always the first CD I play when auditioning a new headphone. If a headphone can accurately reproduce her voice, and the strings of this album, then it will almost always become a favorite for me. Alison has never sounded better!
