  1. Nice work Nate!
  2. Cool Hand Luke. One of my all time favorite movies.
  3. I remember the 350 engine swap kits on the market, because so many people were tired of the constant maintenance with the Jags. I happen to be a big Corvette fan. When it really comes down to it, the cost to performance ratio is phenominal. The next gen. split window looks pretty damn good too...
  4. Quite astonishingly the new C7 can get beter than 20 mpg on the highway.
  5. Oh, good catch Grahame. I think I'll get some more just to have on hand.
  6. Oh, I wouldn't have guessed that at all. I have some of the Central American Variety also known as Vera Wood, but I'm imagining yours to be the 'true' Lignum Vitae, which is highly sought after. I made a fence for my cross cut sled out of the Vera Wood, and immediately dulled a good blade on my table saw. You can hear the silica grinding as you cut. I imagine Kevin has something a little more elaborate to cut with.
  7. Vicki, the best solution I've found for myself are the Ziotek Power Strip Liberator cables... They're relatively inexpensive and you don't need to replace your existing power/surge strips. Ebay is just one option for them. power strip liberators items - Get great deals on Electronics, Computers Networking items on eBay.com!
  8. Kevin I'm kind of partial to the even grain of the first pic. I'd use that for the flat face of the knob. Gorgeous wood, and I have no good guess as to it's species. Can't wait to see those cut!
  9. Now that would be a fantastic name for a gay bar!
  10. I'm a sucker for a good Gyro sandwich. There's a great little bistro here that just added a really good one to their menu.
  11. Who is pizza, and does he drink much?
  12. Colin is dreamy! Speaking of which...I think Colin should name his first born son Rusty.
  13. I always go straight to the tools required section, in hopes I'll have an excuse to buy a knew tool. That rarely is the case however. Buying tools is great...Buying tools to put together other tools: Priceless!
  14. Did I just say that outloud?
  15. Will you be signing autographs after the fest Danny B.? Will we be able to send monetary bribes to procure a small portion of a table to put our gear, or will all the tables be filled with your gear for sale? Will this be a joint venture with iPodBJ, so you can get us coming and going? Just an idea you may not have yet considered. Will you show us how to get that nifty hairstyle after the meet? That will be allowed, but I will most likely be the only bidder, so the auction might be short and cheap. That's how I like my BFs BTW, so we're off to a good start!

Read that word wrong and thought my job had just been outsourced. Welcome back Stretch! Is that lion shit you're tracking on the carpet?
  17. Well at least down here we're prepared for it A/C wise. At least at home anyway. It's a comfy 70 degrees in my house ATM.
  18. Sorry to hear that Nate. I'm all too familiar with the hot weather way too early this year. I'm just hoping to survive August and September. No A/C at the jobsite for another week or so, and it's putting everyone on edge. Hang in there!
  19. Actually that is kind of exciting, but I'm one of those guys that loves the process of repairing things and building things, so I'm easily entertained by this kind of thing. Again Fitz really nice work!
  20. If she needs anything at all please let me know. I have some lifelong friends that are truley wonderful people, that would be more than happy to help her with anything if needed. I'm sure she'll do just fine, but it's nice to know an old sourdough or two. One of my best friends is a retired Superior Court Judge that knows everyone and everthing in Anchorage, and he loves to pass along tidbits to newcomers when ever he can. He runs a really nice Bed and Breakfast downtown too (if needed).
  21. Congrat Guillaume! Duggeh, glad to hear that your diving right in there. Colin, glad to hear your Grandfather is doing better! MPI, I concur with the not growing up too early thing. I certainly didn't notice any glaring character flaws, and you're a really fun guy, so I think you're doing just fine. Dusty, where in AK are they bound for? Permanant residence, or just a vacation?
  22. I'd be up for a summer meet. It looks as though the interest level for Dallas is pretty low, and I'd prefer something closer. A/C needs to be completely overhauled at the condo, so Port A might be out of contention for a little while. I also wouldn't mind waiting until the Buffalo II is finished, so I have something new to offer.
  23. Well here's a beauty for you deepak... Garrard 301 With Woodsong Audio For Sale | AudiogoN
  24. I may decide it's unnecessary after seeing Fitz' workmanship. As long as he ends up happy with the measurements I see no need to go any further.
  25. Well once again Dr. AKG has an absolutely amazing surgery result. I expected him to make it better, but I'm simply amazed at his result. It goes without saying that a good bottle of Scotch will appear at his door soon. Now I just need to find out what a good bottle of Scotch is. Thanks Fitz!!!
