Did you let Dexter borrow your car?
When I was a menace to society, we used to take off someone's tail light, then stick a small fish behind it. Re-install the tail light, then wait a few days. The smell wafts through into the interior, but nothing is found to the uneducated victim's eyes.
Let's not associate Kerry with Ray in any manner. They should not be discussed in the same thread IMO. Kerry is a very knowledgeable builder, with the ability to build a safe and functional amp. And in my own personal opinion, a better looking amp as well. Ray just tacks on slabs of aluminum and pretty notions to try to make his amps look expensive.
May have been. There's been talk about it. Oddly the Audeze guys didn't hear it. I immediately noticed that something sounded wrong and pointed it out. Others have commented they felt the same.
I love my 50" plasma!
Of coarse it's just a best guess scenario, but in an iffy economy I would wait until after X-mas. My guess is that the prices will be better, because they will not have achieved sales goals for the holiday season.
IMO the ALO cable did sound noticeably worse, so much so that I'm assuming Ken's soldering job was about the same level of crap as the old ALO dock I once bought years back. Because I agree that I've not noticed a lot of difference between cables in Ortho headphones.
Mine is a Sam's Club clone. 5 years and still as comfy as day one, and no divets developing, like with a spring mattress. Paid $500, so I feel pretty good about it. That new TP Cloud sure looks interesting though. Might need to go test it out.
Nice ride Larry!
Yeah, I remember that's what everyone drove them with. Heard the combo once at my local high end dealer. I hated it, but only because I couldn't afford it.
Stretch your lips big enough to engulf a TICE, and see if they don't turn Yellow too.
I thought those were Pass units driving the Apogee's. Even the little Apogee Stage was just a badass speaker in the day.
All the more reason for us to support the real enthusiast sites that build honest equipment right here in the U.S.A. HeadAmp now leads that pack IMO, and it's very worth the few extra dollars to keep that business in business. I'd hate to see the day when such a product is no longer available.
It's worked for me for 35 years.
However, if you aren't that handy with the utility knife method, the best sharpener I've seen yet is also made by Keson...
Unlike other sharpeners, you don't turn the pencil, you slide it back and forth.
What once looked like a nice hole in my schedule is now looking pretty full. It looks as though I may have a slab pour on that Fri. and Sat. If I cannot change that date, I must be here for it.
Pardon me for saying so, but there's something about an amp named the 'Pussywillow 3000' that doesn't exactly make me want to click the 'Buy It Now' button.
