I can certainly understand people thinking the Beta 22, KG dynamic and Millett amps as thin or flat. I'm not sure thin is the word I'd use, but I absolutely understand what you mean. That just happens to be my preference for an amp. I like a livelier source though, and that helps give the system that fuller sound. But I'd rather replace my source to suit and keep my amp very neutral. There is no reason we all have to like the same sound sig., that's the whole fun of auditioning other's rigs IMO. Al, your home speaker rig is one of the best I've ever heard, so I doubt we're that far away from each other, sound wise.

One of my favorites as well. Maybe a 1/2 rung below my Beta22. I've not listened to a KG design that I didn't like. Same goes for Pete Millet.

Wow! Great that it wasn't a stroke Mike, but Bell's Palsy sounds a little scary too. Is this something that can and likely will re-occur? I'm hoping for the best of all outcomes Mike. Take care and do everything the Dr. says.

Don I do respect you, very much so in fact. However NoNoNoNoNoNo has made his own bed here and there, and I doubt that opinion will change with us. I know you were friends and neighbors, but he has earned every bit of disrespect he's acquired IMO.

I did get a couple of free french fries from Justin once, but I stole them when he wasn't looking. Even so I've felt the need to shill all of his products since then.

In Alaska, during winter it wasn't uncommon for my earbud cables to rub against my polar fleece jacket lining, and give a static shock. Just one of those things you get used to in a dry climate.
