  1. I was being sarcastic. I've touched them personally. Well not in an Ari way, but I've had my mitts on them. Yes, but if they're the same thickness as the trim pieces, the knob won't be very thick. Say 9/16" or so. Would be cool to alternate similarly thick pieces of Gabon Ebony with the burl. So the face of the knob would be the Aristeus Burl, but the side would be striped.
  2. The Aristaeus has mini wood panels?
  3. You're a hooker?!!! All this time thought you were in graphic arts.

Why don't we have some kind of video conference classes for just these types of situations? It is the year 2012, is it not?
  8. Yay plumbers, yay Shelly!

Stay safe everyone! Remember that in the big picture there really is no need to rush and risk life and limb.
  11. I had an earlier Zamp with less power, and I was pretty surprised at the power it had. It drove some 92dB two ways easily. But to be honest I don't ever listen at concert levels. No doubt that the 90-95 rated WPC of the units in mono would more than satisfy your needs, in the worst case scenario. But I imagine a single unit in stereo would do, if you're not into rattling the windows. Either way, still relatively good budget/performance factor. Plus they come up on ebay regularly. The Zamp was also a badass K340 amp, didn't have the K1000 yet.
  12. Wow, good thing you didn't get drop and french mixed up!
  13. Havin' dinner with NoNoNoNoNoNo?
  14. I think the ZampV3 would manage the task. Nice little amp. You could always buy a second one later and run the pair in mono, for double the power.

  16. Wait, I didn't hear you talk about any gear blowing up. Are you sure Al was there?
  17. I'll save you Nell!
  18. Yeah, and the Pencil Dhiks came to mind too.

The real problem is modern technology and those too stupid to know when not to use it. You can drive by nearly any jobsite today and see some idiot using a power tool while talking or texting on his phone.
  21. Heh, he. Heh, he...He said recti-fying.
  22. Yeah, she's next in line.
  23. Careful Shelly...your thunderpants are showing.

No, not at all. SawStop tables have a sacrificial aluminum cartridge that absorbs all the damage. And replacement is about $80.00. SawStop tables are not only safer, but actually quite well designed tables. I plan on having one when I set up a bigger shop.
