  1. You oughta see what I can do with my old XL condoms.
  2. I find that it falls off the shelf if it isn't balanced.
  3. Me too Wayne. I'm planning on picking up the Fidelio L1 as soon as it hits the market.
  4. Glad I could help. Now who are you?
  5. Looks great Grahame!
  6. Fimo clay. You can buy it in any color, shape it and bake it. Again, you could could make it hollow, with a lip to accept shot.
  7. Nicely done Sir! Those F4s might like some butcher blocks to sit on. Can't wait to listen!
  8. Who is Fritz?
  9. Or contact the guy on eBay. He's got more and he'd probably just sell you a piece if the price is right.
  10. I was going to suggest a hollow wood weight, so you could add or subtract shot. Maybe Kevin could make it, as it's too small for me to lathe for you.
  11. Although some woods look great in larger pieces, their grain pattern is too big to look good on smaller pieces, such as knobs. Snakewood should work really well, if you can find a piece large enough. Another wood with a beautiful small grain pattern is Bocote. It also happens to turn very well...
  12. Woot is right!

  15. Like the NAD M3. That's 5K, and a nice two piece solution.
  16. TACT M2150 perhaps.
  17. No need to explain. I thought it was a great analogy, and I came away understanding your point of view much better because of it. I think you make a good point.
  18. Well I am talking out of my ass here, because I've not heard this amp or the one I'm recommending. However, for this kind of monetary layout I'd have to give some consideration to some more established names. The NAD M2 comes to mind. It has garnered stellar reviews. Above your price ceiling, but possibly well worth the extra greenbacks. http://www.stereophile.com/solidpoweramps/nad_m2_direct_digital_integrated_amplifier/index.html
  19. I call it Bachelor Stovetop Casserole. 3) lg. potatoes 1) Big ass onion 1) Red bell pepper 6-10) Crimini mushrooms 1 lb. good quality kielbasa sausage Cut all items into bite size pieces. Add all items to lg. skillet or electric skillet w/4-5 tbsp. EVOO. Cook over medium-medium low heat for 50-60 minutes, stirring occasionally. Salt & pepper to taste. Serve with fresh baguette or bread of your choosing (Sourdough Rosemary Loaf FTMFW!).
  20. Gotcha, Then we agree. He most certainly does not misrepresent himself, I'll give him that.
  21. T-Rex must be the reception band.
  22. Fingers crossed Nate!
