  1. Ouch, really? I'd want to build my own anyway.
  2. Someone needs to take a step in this direction.
  3. So here's a kit designed for the iD100 at $168.00. I'm guessing I could handily beat that price by designing and building my own (read as conning Marc into designing and helping me build it). http://welbornelabs.com/pspod.htm
  4. Do you have it built for me yet Spritzer, it's been 30 minutes since i posted? Seriously though, does that come in kit form somewhere, and I guess I'd need to alter it some?
  5. So how difficult would it be to design an upgraded linear power supply for this unit? Something that might fit in a smallish Hammond case maybe.
  6. Happy Birthday!
  7. Cliff notes
  8. You're paying for Vinnie's grocery bills.
  9. I can see that there was some nice circle hole cutting involved there. Excellent work Nate!
  10. Grahame, I thought we agreed you wouldn't call me Shirley again, at least spell it correctly!
  11. And here. I don't like to wait.
  12. Maxvla is a nice guy. I've met him a few times at meets, and I think he could fit in here. He just needs to take time to understand what we're about here. We can be rude, but we're not here only to be rude. There is a very friendly, and very supportive group here. It just takes time to find your place. Just understand that we're not here to harbor Head-Fi escapees.
  13. Strawberry's lesser known Brother.
  14. Have a great day!
  15. As far as the driving, low end bass, that could be handled by an active subwoofer. Let's face it, even with horn loaded technology, a smallish driver can only move so much air. Why not let a 12" active sub kick in low to handle the slam and lowest octaves? I don't think it'd be that difficult to dial into your system. If you're looking for visceral impact, that's a good option in my book. Doesn't need to break the bank either... http://emotiva.com/xref_sub12.shtm
  16. At the very least you'll need to grow a sense of humor to make it here. I'd suggest a sense of humor and an RSA gag order, but hey...
  17. You oughta see what I can do with my old XL condoms.
  18. I find that it falls off the shelf if it isn't balanced.
  19. Me too Wayne. I'm planning on picking up the Fidelio L1 as soon as it hits the market.
  20. Glad I could help. Now who are you?
  21. Looks great Grahame!
  22. Fimo clay. You can buy it in any color, shape it and bake it. Again, you could could make it hollow, with a lip to accept shot.
  23. Nicely done Sir! Those F4s might like some butcher blocks to sit on. Can't wait to listen!
