  1. Yes, yes it is!
  2. Do something fun today!
  3. Yes, but since Cavalli isn't building it I doubt he's interested. Ooh, did I just say that publicly? He's joking about Al's volume levels. Remember how you can hear Al's headphones all the way across the library, in meet conditions?
  4. They look even better in person. They sound better in person too.
  5. Well except that we let Mike buy it, and then wait for him to sell it to us a week later.
  6. So when I stated back at CJ10 that I liked the LCD-2 more on SS than tube amps, that had some real reasoning behind it? I've always thought the β22 a great planer amp. And I think the same will be true of my Pass F5.
  7. For the sake of higher fidelity, I'll probably set the iD100 so that it doesn't charge, and charge the iPod seperately. But that's a good point.
  8. β22, GS-1, BA. This is Head Case after all.
  9. So after some back and forth with Fitz, I've decided that a STEPS will do what I want, without getting too crazy. Fitz has an extra board laying around and I'll stuff it into a Hammond case and be done. Thanks for all the help and suggestions!
  10. Yep, I for one never understood a woman's knobs, some of them hidden even. Tweak the knobs too hard and you get slapped. Go too easy on them and you get ignored. It's all too confusing. Gaydom is so much easier.
  11. John I'm looking at the manual, and I don't seem to find that answer to that question. http://www.cambridgeaudio.com/assets/documents/iD100_Users_Manual.pdf
  12. Fitz and I are discussing using a STEPS, as a bulletproof, easy and cost effective solution.
  13. I like the Sigma11 idea actually.
  14. Ouch, really? I'd want to build my own anyway.
  15. Someone needs to take a step in this direction.
  16. So here's a kit designed for the iD100 at $168.00. I'm guessing I could handily beat that price by designing and building my own (read as conning Marc into designing and helping me build it). http://welbornelabs.com/pspod.htm
  17. Do you have it built for me yet Spritzer, it's been 30 minutes since i posted? Seriously though, does that come in kit form somewhere, and I guess I'd need to alter it some?
  18. So how difficult would it be to design an upgraded linear power supply for this unit? Something that might fit in a smallish Hammond case maybe.
  19. Happy Birthday!
  20. Cliff notes
  21. You're paying for Vinnie's grocery bills.
  22. I can see that there was some nice circle hole cutting involved there. Excellent work Nate!
  23. Grahame, I thought we agreed you wouldn't call me Shirley again, at least spell it correctly!
