  1. Well you do live in Austin, so that won't even garner a second look.
  2. Thanks Nate, I'll let you know once Marc has settled on what woods he's going to be using. Marc, either threaded rod or a bolt. The bolt head could be recessed into the piece, and that would keep the rod from turning.
  3. Happy Birthday Dan! Have some good beer, and watch some Hockey!
  4. I don't have the right chuck to hold something like that. We may need to sweet talk one of the guys around here with a Nova chuck, or Kevin.
  5. Yay Nate!
  6. Happy Birthday!
  7. And don't forget to check in on Head-Fi to see if you have the veiled version, the bright version, the bass heavy version or the version that only dogs can hear.
  8. I've decided to wait for the LCD-19 R3. Should be another year or so.
  9. So many Birthdays in February. Have a fantastic day! And isn't it a little creepy to realize that our parents were screwing just 4 days apart.
  10. Well isn't obvious? Sophie is sweet and beautiful, so it can't be her. Alden is...well Alden is cute and has a killer sense of humor. So it has to be... well? Can you have another kid?
  11. I've been to Las Vegas. It's in exotic Nevada.
  12. Just get the Monitor Audios that you like and quit sweating it. And yeah, a Thalidomide chair might be a good thing.
  13. That's right! He's not the only guy Fitz and I have seen push his way in with a big Dhik.
  14. Hey Shelly, it looks like your amp is at least 7.1? Turn one horizontally, throw in a sub and you're done... http://www.ebay.com/...#ht_3484wt_1139 I used to like MB Quart, haven't heard this model though. He's also selling them in 5. If you still want large towers up front, check out Swan's Diva series. They have centers and surrounds as well...
  15. The Ohms are nice, and would work with the chair in place, but no matching center channel is available. The Energy Veritas sound wonderful, but I don't think you can get them with a wood face. Any Thiel is going to sound beautiful IMO.
  16. Hope you find something to aim for today!
  17. Hah! I've sweated miles of copper pipe! It's not relative at all, trust me.
  18. Well disconnecting them can't hurt, but I doubt that you damaged the amp.
  19. Don't forget that you're raising two really nice kids. That's no accident!
  20. Monaco would not be a bad place to do that. Have some fun Wayne!
  21. I would probably go with the Quad L-ite system and call it a day. I'm a Paradigm fan too, but not sure they have the aesthetic you want.
  22. Here's a complete ICEpower amp, if you don't want to build one... http://www.amazon.co...r/dp/B002UD53IO or http://www.amazon.com/Teac-AH01-B-Amplifier-Digital-Converter/dp/B006I6FXDY
  23. Shelly, any progress here?
  24. Sorry Nate. As for me, just a faulty TPS sensor. They had one in stock and I'm on the road again free of charge. BTW Hyundai's towing service is pretty good. They found a local agent and kept me well informed. Only had to wait a short time too.
  25. What's that saying Horio? It's just as easy to build 3 as 1?
