  1. Agreed...Sounds software oriented to me too.
  2. Congrat Lloyd and Becky!
  3. Well, like most any headphone, I suspect the better you're acquainted with the headphone, the less time it takes to evaluate a new piece of gear in the chain. I could hear noticeable differences immediately, and more subtle differences pretty quickly. I'll throw my K1000 in the car.
  4. Moments of wisdom from the Ginger Gigolo.
  5. Very Gay of me to notice Ric, but that Cherry really pops in front of those Green curtains. You have them stacked the same way I did too. I hope you love 'em as much as I did.
  6. That truly sucks. I can tell you that this is a very special amp indeed. Had I known how good, I could have saved some time and purchases prior to now. It is easily the best amp I've heard for the K1000. Even besting my DIY Pass F5.
  7. Happy (belated) Birthday!
  8. Congrat Vicki!
  9. Sucky news Al.
  10. Listening now to my new M-22. iPod/Cambridge iD100 > Naaman built Buffalo II > Pioneer M-22 > AKG K1000. GLORIOUS!
  11. Happy Birthday Mike!
  12. Sounds like a fun day!
  13. Done. Sorry for not getting to this sooner. Have fun!
  14. ^ This!
  15. P.S. Gene's PM made it easier. I may just have a new killer K1000 amp in house soon. Hint - It also ends with -22.
  16. Shipped out the "Tower of Power". I'm a little sad, but I still have the excellent F5 as a K1000 amp, and the new "Micro Tower of Power". Also it's going to an excellent home, so that eases the pain. Enjoy Ric!!!
  17. Ken, spray a little penetrating oil around the lip of the drain. It'll seep down and help loosen things.
  18. Have you tried a drain removal tool yet? What backing will you use for the tile? I recommend 1/2" Hardy backer. Then you can use mesh tape and thinset on the seams.
  19. Happy Birthday Grahame!
  20. Happy Birthday!
  21. * Who the fuck told you to speak?
  22. Happy Birthday gents!
  23. So sorry for your loss Dusty. Luvbug was loved deeply for 20 happy years. You can't ask for much more than that.
  24. Hang in there Dusty. I feel for you. That is exactly what happened to my dog before Suzy (Fred). In two weeks he went from a happy, energetic 22 lb. face licking ball of fun, to a 9 lb. bony, frail little guy who didn't want to get out of bed. There was nothing to be done for him. I'm wishing you and your cat the best outcome!
