Well I am heavy, and what I've been most impressed with the memory foam beds I've had is that they stayed firm. Had the first one for about 5 years, and was as new then. I'll stay away from Serta.

I've heard they are good about refunding the purchase price in those cases where people just weren't happy in the long run. I agree with Reks about support, but I'd call it medium firm. I like a firm mattress and I loved this one. I thought the cool gel technology actually helped some as well. I hate being hot when I sleep. All this said...It'll be about 30 days before your body fully adjusts to a MF mattress. Not that it'll suck before that, but after I had my first MF for about a month, I woke up one morning and realized I hadn't turned once all night (a minor miracle for me), and have absolutely loved them since.

I loved the one that Al has at Mayberry. It's a Samsung, but not sure the model. It also had a steam mode, which is great if you forget to pull your clothes out on time.
