  1. I don't think the Vespa is what Ari was looking at Carl. But yeah, they definitely have a cool factor!
  2. I lived in the bay area for about 4 years. Even when it does rain, it's nothing like Texas rain. I think a rain pancho will suffice.

You really need to understand that this is not Head-Fi. We're not interested in giving you a podium to tout your opinions. We don't welcome all new members with open arms here. We are a group of friends, and we're selective about who we think fits in here. If you feel that we are not being fair or open minded as to your favorite amps/builders, you are right. Tough noogies! Stick with that other site.
  4. Cool! I should have read further. I wasn't aware of such a thing. Will add that to the list. I see a 2007 650 Burgman for sale in Sacramento... http://www.cycletrader.com/listing/2007-Suzuki-Burgman-650-110476311 Looks clean.
  5. Happy Birthday guys!
  6. It would be rare that I would cruise on the highway, but I like the idea of having the option. I've never owned a motorcycle, and like the idea of a scooter. I'm lazy and don't want to shift gears, not to mention that scooters are kind of gay, so it's a good fit. The bigger scooters do have larger tires than small scooters, though not as large as bike.
  7. I'm considering a scooter once I move to Sacramento. I had a Honda Elite 150 back in 85', and liked it a lot. I want something that I can take on the highway though, in case I want to scoot into San Francisco, or elsewhere. There are some really cheap Chinese scooters on the market, but they have horrible reviews, so I'm most likely going to stick with the well known players. Right now top consideration is going to the new Honda Forza 300cc, coming out in July. Any thoughts or recommendations?
  8. Damn, that sounds good! The sandwich, that is.
  9. I may just attend!
  10. It's not really feasible to ship my home speakers. But once I'm settled in and financially solvent, I'm wanting these... http://www.emotivapro.com/products/stealth-6 My Buffalo II w/volumite will be a fantastic all in one source/pre to mate with them!
  11. Nice Mikey!
  12. Thanks all! Brent, you and everyone else here are invited to the first dinner party! it may be a long drive home though. at Al ! Mike, I hope everything works out for the best. Ken, Texas isn't the problem. Parts of Texas are awesome. The Corpus Christi Bay area isn't one of them.
  13. One way baby!!! I'm moving to Sacramento! I've wanted to move out of Texas since, well since about a week after moving to Texas. It only took 12 years, but things have happened that have helped to push me in that direction. I'm excited! I won't be a true Bay Area guy, but I imagine Al, Ric, Steve and others will open the gate and let me through once in a while. I'm also trying to tag other changes onto this one, i.e. healthier eating, better and more exercise (impossible to ride a bike safely here), building a better social life (I have really missed throwing dinner parties), etc...
  14. Booked my flight to Sacramento on July 17th.
  15. Happy Birthday Scott!
  16. Happy Birthday Justin!
  17. I've always thought of you as somewhat campy Raffy.
  18. He speaks much wisdom! I always pull my pinna back and up when trying to align with the canal.
  19. Damn! Another missed opportunity.
  20. It most likely is temporary Brent. Hoping for the best outcome!
  21. You haven't been storing extra biscuits in there have you? Feel better Brent!
  22. Congrat!
  23. Happy Belated Birthday David! Did you celebrate by entering the Passenger Van 500?
  24. Wow Adrian, I applaud your frugality! I know Shelly started the single congrat movement, but you've achieved a whole new level with the new thank movement! There's no telling how many wasted thanks this might save. Bravo Sir!
  25. I have not been a McDonald's fan since I was a child, and really not so much back then. I was there within the last 6 months or so, and I was shocked at the prices! You could eat at a decent diner or similar for what it cost to eat at the golden arches now. Why would someone spend $8.00 on McJunk? No offense meant to those who like their food, but I just don't get it.
