  1. I bought Junior Brown 'Junior High' back in 95, and really liked the album. Somehow recently I lost it. So decided to expand my Junior Brown collection. He's quirky, but in the best way. Havin' a fun listening session via Parasound ZCD > Parasound ZDAC > Exposure 2010S integrated > AKG K1000.
  2. I always wanted to visit Churchill for the polar bears.

    The Good Lord Bird.

Anybody watching this show? Ethan Hawk plays John Brown. I'm really enjoying this. The young man who plays "Onion" is someone to watch. He may have a great career ahead of him.
  4. Is that Donald Trump's 4th wife?
  5. Holey crap Nate! That cake looks like something Chef Duff would make. Impressive!!!
  6. Thanks for getting rid of that drivel.
  7. If I leave now..
  8. OMG, Thank you Stuart Smalley! It's got much more to do with trying to save other members from your incessant droning, than any kind of sadism (obviously you don't understand the difference between sadism and masochism). If you were a masochist, you would read your own posts to punish yourself. And thanks for warning me of your current location. I'll avoid the city like the plague!
  9. Sorry to hear of your frustration. I'd like to extend you a welcome to Samsung and Verizon.
  10. We're in the wrong administration for truth.
  11. This is a T-nut. I drilled a 1/16" recess for the top flange of the T-nut to sit flush into a piece of 1/2"plywood. Then drilled a 3/8" hole for the barrel of the T-nut. Then I glued the second piece of plywood onto the first, trapping the T-nut in-between the two. The only thing showing is the 3/8" hole with the barrel of the T-nut inside. The threaded part of the hanger bolt screws into this. Resulting in a blind joint that is very solid.
  12. This is a hanger bolt. The wood screw end goes into the leg, while the threaded end goes into the top.
  13. Got it stained and milled 1/16" deep, round recesses in the top for the Bigfoot Isolation feet to seat into, otherwise they tend to slide around. Will start the clearcoat process tomorrow. I'm expecting not to have to worry about flies landing in my clearcoat, since they seem to greatly prefer Pence's head.
  14. Your best bet may be to hire Wilco to follow her around.
  15. I'm using charcoal briquettes and Catcoon poop.
  16. The top is made up of two pieces of 1/2" plywood, with T-nuts buried in between the two. The legs have threaded inserts that screw into the T-nuts. Very solid if not exactly beautiful. It should look better when stained Black.
  17. I got bored today and decided not to wait for Milo. Just a down and dirty TT stand. The bottom shelf is morticed into the legs, then attached with trim screws that I covered with plugs (plugs still need to be cut flush and sanded). It should hold enough records, as I plan to limit myself this time around. I have a Cherry slab (cutting board) that the TT actually sets on. The Cherry slab will sit on top of this stand with my Hudson HiFi Bigfoot silicone isolation feet between the two surfaces. I plan to Ebonize the stand, then finish with Arm-R-Seal (much to Doug's dismay).
  18. I believe that Amazon music let's you store your own music files in your cloud locker. There's always the chance that I'm mistaken.
  19. I'm not sure why you wouldn't still use iTunes?
  20. RIP Mr. Nash.

I hear that Fred had quite the libido.
  23. This is exactly why I started my new business... T.I.C.E. Terminating Incompatible Contemporary Equipment. All you need to do is package up that pesky, unused gear, and ship it to me for proper disposal. We are a zero landfill disposal business, so you need feel no guilt whatsoever.
  24. Wow. RIP Eddie.
