Can't agree more Steve. I chased accuracy and a flat response for many years, only to get very close and realize that I did not enjoy the system much at all. Flavor is just fine if it's the right flavor.

I also made a batch of black eyed peas last night. With big chunks of ham and collard greens. Yummy! Sorry, no pics.

I can call this recipe a complete success. It tastes nothing like the store-bought stuff. It's the real deal. Delicious!

Making real eggnog for the first time. It took almost an hour of constant stirring to bring the custard up to temp. Now it needs to chill for at least 3 hours. I'll report back afterwards. Recipe is America's Test Kitchen Holiday Eggnog.

Let's hope that 2021 is less shitty than 2020. Without Trump in office and vaccinations on the horizon, it should be a sure thing. Love you guys and gals!
