He's going to buy whole cows and cut his own briskets.

Hadn't heard of this show, until Al texted me about it last night. I got sucked in by episode one, with great music and fun characters, so I started watching more tonight. It takes place in London in 1983-88. I just finished, it's only 5 episodes. I feel like I just did a tour on the front lines of a horrible battle. It's not for the faint of heart, but it's the most realistic portrayal of the AIDS epidemic I've seen. It brought up so many memories that I haven't confronted in so long, and friends cut down way too early. A rough ride, but maybe that's what it has to be, to tell the real story.

I was just shocked to see that they had concrete driveways in Arkansas!
-
I was having a stroke and Al just laughed and continued taking pictures. Or I could have been acting like an idiot. Can't remember which.

Set kitchen cabinets with Milo. Maybe he took pics.

Just watched the first two episodes of this new series on EPIX. It's based on the book 6 Days of the Condor. An interesting cast to be sure. Some new people and a lot of actors that haven't really been seen in a while. I found it worthy of a few more episodes at least.

If you find a wealthy enough customer, Ebony mills like a dream.
-
Well, that clears that up!

My own top is quickly moving toward a similar weight.

Bryan, as one who has not listened to any Focal headphones, can you give me a broad idea of the Utopia sound signature?
-
That's a pretty bold and generalized statement. And one I take issue with.
-
I had a cable descrambler at that time. My buddies would always come to my house for all the pay-per-view events.
-
Doubtful. Walnut just has stringier, brittle grain.
-
How's the Cherry milling?

RIP Marvelous Marvin Hagler.

That is going to be beautiful! Is your Walnut armboard going to look like military wings, or will he ping pong something different? 😋

^ A beautiful record. A nice album to put my TT rig through its paces as well. It did quite well. I think this is my new reference album. Thanks Marc!
