  1. Yes, the Luna is my favorite sounding headphone amplifier that I've heard by a longshot though I had only spent a little less than a hour with it.
  2. My father, who has had In-and-Out multiple times, strongly prefers In-and-Out over Five Guys unfortunately.
  3. I've only been to Five Guys; we used to eat there almost every day after school during high school. Great stuff.
  4. Same here! ->
  5. Sounds like a good plan. Have you talked to Thrice yet? PFK is doing that too but apparently hasn't heard back from him in a little bit.
  6. By the way, who designed the Luna? I had the impression that K&K Audio (Lundahl USA distributor) did it but I'm not sure.
  7. Oh, there are photos of the black ones on the front page: http://www.laroccoaudio.net/diablo.html Hmm, seems like you decided against the black one after all, haha.
  8. lol wah Haha yeah, I read about that. Holiday season (pre-holiday season as well) is going to be good for the XBox in my opinion.
  9. *thumbs up* Good work!
  10. No wai!
  11. I can! Well, not really. http://www.hifi2000.it/default.asp?Langid=1
  12. Nate, I just realized that I need a list of websites for all potential cases; the Head-Fi DIY showoff thread is mostly a sparse shotgun spray of random things, and trying to find a good case is starting to become difficult.
  13. Ah, Audio Note Japan... I listened to some Audio Note Japan (Kondo) setups during my childhood in Japan. In essence, those experiences were the true starting points in my love of audio and - even music itself. (It was a point in life when I realized just how powerful music was; I wanted to experience it too - the experiences have since then led me to learn the violin, compose, and of course, buy audio gear.) I remember it was such a very deeply moving experience. Another experience that really made an impression on me at the time was listening to a Avantgarde horns setup.
  14. The Denon is that good aye, hmm. Speaking of source upgrades, I just "potentially" upgraded my source. I'm not sure whether I'm going to keep it though. I'll need to get the opinion of a few friends before I decide.
  15. Mmm! First reply! Very nice, very nice. Thread++
  16. I'm going to have to go get some real food later tonight. I've been basically living off McDonalds for the past few days. My body feels utterly dumpy.
  17. Sweet, very nice. Can't wait to see the setup.
  18. That is a very good point. Yes, that is my opinion as well. Though the amps are thin-sounding, the ones I've had experience with were not of particularly of notable fidelity. I believe revealing details was not the purpose; it's just his sound signature.
  19. I believe it's simply because Nanoha cared about you and knew you deserved better. Venio believes that ignorance is bliss. That is, if you were referring to the "This is an interesting forum" thread where I said what I thought of the Raptor. It's kind of funny, because if anything, I would think Venio is the meaner of the two.
  20. Awesome, thanks for the info. I'll have to ask him for advice sometime!
  21. lol wah? divine intervention! Nice reks. Love the thread title.
  22. Hah, I thought it was about 8 inches long when I first saw the product photos.
  23. For the win!
  24. Haha, yes. I also think Yamamoto's SET amps (A-08 series) are some of the more beautiful power amplifiers around. Though, I've come to realize that HA-02 is surprisingly large. I initially thought it was something small and cute. Hmm, interesting. I'm glad it worked out in the end for you. Sometimes it is amazing how much noise/hum is reduced when power strips and upgraded power cords are used; I've personally experienced the difference.
  25. Hah, I'm happy someone agrees with me. I've heard the HA-2, Aria, and Porta Corda for a few hours; none were impressive. I consider Meier to be a good engineer; I don't particularly care for his engineering style (design choices) and have the opinion that the sonic characteristics of his amps are bland and dry.
