There is no doubt that some HD600s sound noticeably different from HD650s. And yes, a few people do favor the HD600 over the HD650.

Rank them all! Awesome. Yeah, the HD600 is more neutral than the darker sounding HD650. I might have liked the HD600 over the HD650 if I had a good amp with them.

I need to get a decent amp with these. I sure hope these can achieve the inherent sweetness of the W11JPN (that is immediately apparent even with low-end amplifiers).

How much of an improvement do you think the SRM-1/MKII provides over the HEV70?

I have realized something. The HE60 is piercing bright at the very top. Just below that, it's beautifully smooth. Not at all shrill though. It is probably just the HEV70. It's so surprisingly comfortable too.
