How was the 650 B market looking as far as the carbon bikes go? For a single speed, I would be very interested in the 650 B. If you're going rigid, it wouldn't be as big of a deal. If you're going hardtail, there's more research and development that has been thrown at 29 ers, so I'm sure the weight gap isn't that bad relative to cost.

Get your petchuli stench out of our thread! (Or go single speed.) **BRENT**

Not jealous at all of the old school Klein or the Moots. Nope. Not at all. *drools a little* When are you building up the carbon HT? Or going Lynskey 650b? **BRENT**

Happy Father's Day to all my fellow dads, and to all of those fathers who raised (or damaged) all of my HC family. **BRENT**

Anurag, this life is too bloody short to care what other people think... Unless that makes you happy. You love Julie, and she makes you happy. From what we talked when you were looking at grad school apps, becoming a doctor makes you happy. My Mom is great, but I know I've disappointed her in the past. She has disappointed me as well. Know what? We still really love each other, even if we may infuriate each other from time to time. If it came down to it, though, she would take me being happy in whichever path I went down, than me being miserable following in the footsteps of what she thought I should do. Make yourself happy. Every time you talk about Julie, either on the forum or one on one, either you're happy, or show strong emotion for her well being. Like I think you said, if it comes to it, I think the decision will be pretty easy. You're a good kid, we're here for you. **BRENT**

Just shooting a little pool with Jeff and his cousin. Seems he somehow beat me twice in the same game. I blame Colin. **BRENT**

Couldn't fit the mansion/museum AND my head in the same shot. I think he'd have to get the mythical 6mm Fisheye for that one. **BRENT** -
Went out to lunch. Beef empanadas The Incline 1885Grill.com 1885 Burger with white cheddar and bacon. So good! **BRENT**

Posty, I have a mint green one out on loan. If you want to PM me your address, it's yours. I'm horrible at shipping, and I have to get it back from my buddy, but I'm sure I could get it out within a month or so My Gunmetal Grey one is SOOOO much slicker, though. **BRENT**

Posty, I use the flip cover from Samsung. Replacement back cover plus flip cover. I hoks that between a finger or two and have maybe 3 drops in 6 months? Better record than my otter boxes and seidios and others in the past. Chris, like I sais elsewhere, looks great, and I hope they make a Note X Active. **BRENT**

Sony makes kid sized ones with volume limiters. 10-15 bucks at walmart. They do break, though. PX-100s worked for my kids. They loved mine. Most of their headphones broke, the PX100s are still kicking. The RS ones may be made by Koss, no? If the warranty is the same, buy two pairs, and use one while the other one is sent off to be replaced. **BRENT**

My road ride got rained out, so I'd planned on dusting off the cobwebs from the mtn bike and head out with Xavier today. Needed a new tube, so we to the LBS to pay 50% more for a 29er tube than any other one (a policy that's new since the last time I was there). Get home, install it, double check to make sure it's on right, pump it up, and *BOOOOM*. 12"+ gash, just above the valve stem. This is after the end of my last valve stem snapped off while pumping up. So far, Giant and Bontrager tubes don't seem to like me. I went to another shop, but all the ones on my side of town were closed... no riding for me today either. **BRENT**

Jeff, it's settled... next year, you're doing the Chattanooga one. The chicken and burgers were great, and the almost-mexican food wasn't bad either. Not to mention you'll come in for the VIP dinner for some pasta, perhaps with a side of Lynskey. **BRENT**

BIG win! **BRENT** Edit: I see you made it in time for lunch after all!

Awesome, Jeff! I think I'm going to train for the metric next year, at least. Love the pic, man! **BRENT**

Hopefully he took his flask. **BRENT**

The 2013 US Cycling National Championships in Chattanooga, TN. Some of the shots are "meh", and I messed up some, but figure they can be fixed. All are straight-off-the-cam JPGs.
