  1. I don't see ANYTHING on their site with Apex. Apex was HUGE in 2012, but hardly saw it on anything in 2013, stock, at least. **BRENT**
  2. Need an inexpensive carbon road bike? http://www.neuvationcycling.com/product/neuvation-fc100-carbon-shim-105-1694.htm 995$ for a Neuvation FC100 with Shimano 105. Dreadhead can vouch for the company, as he's had at least one of their bikes, I believe. The 51 is sold out, but plenty of other sizes. **BRENT**
  3. YMMV, but local RadioShacks here have Klipsch S4 and S3 for 19.99. S4i (iPhone compatible controls) for 39.99$. These are normally 80, 50, or 100$ respectively, so 60-75% off. If you swing by, maybe check the clearance bin. Heh, I just got word that some dude at the store went and picked up the S4i after my buddy found the S4 and called me. **BRENT**
  4. That's great, Dusty! Some of those AutoCorrects were so funny I forgot how pissed off I am that I've been up for 2 hours in pain. Laughing with a sore throat + clogged sinuses is dangerous, I think I couldn't breathe for a little bit, but that was well needed. I <3 DYAC. Quite possibly my favorite feature of the iPhone. **BRENT**
  5. I think leave the excess steerer tube there and put a drink or something in it. Maybe a green-smoothie holder for post-ride festivities? **BRENT**
  6. I do like white bikes, and that is hot. I think the Enves really help the frame pop off the bike. **BRENT**
  7. Vicki can't post this one yet, but didn't want you guys to have to wait. It's smokin' hot! **BRENT**
  8. Fly him in from Paris to do it. Otherwise, what's the point? **BRENT**
  9. So happy for you, Vicki! I dig it. **BRENT**
  10. Bontrager Pro SeatPack M(edium) It holds quite a bit, including my phone before I just started keeping it in a bag in my jersey pocket. I needed a bag and my fav LBS only had stuff with their logo all over it, and the Trek shop had this one on sale for 13$. They were close to the ride I needed a bag for and I went with it. I liked the medium Topeak better, but it was MSRP at the shop, they didn't have anything but S or XL, and it wasn't worth it to me for something just a little better. **BRENT**
  11. Monoprice.com employee pricing on many/most things. Get the 50+ price on 1 or more, is what it seems to do. Employee code:EMP0794 http://slickdeals.net/f/6229094-EMPLOYEE-DISCOUNT-at-Monoprice-com-on-EVERYTHING **BRENT**
  12. I'll play 3 teams and call one of them Deepak's Faeries. It will be all kickers and tight ends. **BRENT**
  13. I hate you all, I hope you know that **BRENT**
  14. Oh. I don't mind falling (except maybe off of obstacles, so I don't do many of those right now), but yeah, I walk with a limp the past two years... definitely carries over to mountain biking a LOT more than road biking. Falling on dirt or sand or grass at 5-8mph I'll take ANY DAY over falling on pavement. I have a scar from just tipping over on the road 5 months ago, at 0.5mph, that's worse than the Great NJ Thornbush Massacre of 2012. **BRENT**
  15. I know how to mtn bike. I know how to look ahead, I know what to do, how to clear/avoid obstacles... I just can't DO it anymore. There would have been some stuff I chose not to ride anyways, but some of it was just "I can't physically balance that well on a bike anymore." Road riding is fine, but even easy trails like that beat me up in a way that is more than just physical conditioning. The switchbacks aren't something I like in general, but between balance and having to naturally switch to a left-foot dominant riding position since I just can't put power down with my right anymore... it was just too much. I love mountain biking. I don't like swampy/sand biking, but that's a different story. I think I'll concentrate on the road stuff for a while and then revisit MTB at a later date. It's my first love with cycling, and, well, I have issues letting that kind of thing go (In the airport yesterday, I saw some Porta Pros, and as those were my first "real" headphones, I considered picking up a pair for a second, until I remembered MSRP). So yes, like Vicki said, more bike riding, not less... just will be the black bike instead of the red bike. That is, unless Zach comes down... then he'll make me get the red one out. I'm going to have to watch those videos when I get home tonight. **BRENT**
  16. Yeah... I think I'm done mtn biking for a while. Don't have the cardio base or especially the balance to do it right now. Jeff, time to just work your magic. (Still haven't watched them, been hanging with the kids instead.) **BRENT**
  17. Seat was low. Changed it shortly after battery died on cam.
  18. Anyone wanna buy a Huffy? **BRENT**
  19. I don't have time to watch it, but I hate you in advance.
  20. Jeff will enjoy the results of my ride much more than I enjoyed my showing, but it was great hanging out with friends today. **BRENT**
  21. Vicki, a FL ride without you is gonna be sad, but you can come video me falling down for some good Biscuit Boy Goes South footage. Jeff thinks I will fall down enough that you can keep up with me by just walking, so if you change your mind... I hope to report on "mountain biking" in FL vs TN. I think they picked a "lazy Mexican" approved trail for me, so hoping I'll fare better than the NJ ride or the California ride where a 70 year old lady walked up the mountain faster than I could ride/push up it. Looking forward to it... Even if #s has me on a sleep schedule that pains my soul (it's before 7am and I've been up an hour.) **BRENT**
  22. At Carl and Bonnie's. The cupcake fairy came!!! **BRENT**
