  1. /me is not amused. I'll get you next time, Gadget! **BRENT**
  2. What is this Wimp nonsense? **BRENT**
  3. It's not MOG, but I didn't know where to put this. 16/44 streaming/offline-capable music and music video streaming service that uses lossless (FLAC and/or ALAC... not sure, but both are mentioned). It's called Tidal Hifi. Here's the link to sign up for early access. http://www.tidalhifi.com/?lrRef=nXurAq I'm pretty happy with Spotify, but I wouldn't mind some higher quality options. Also, it seems they say that Spotify uses Ogg Vorbis 320k as their streaming method of choice. I'd not heard that it was Vorbis, but instead figured MP3. Interesting. **BRENT**
  4. Crap. I had a big post typed up then lost it. My little boy got a Rebel XT (used) when he was 5 for his b-day, with an 18-55. This was rather light and was easy to handle by Xavier. Currently, the SL1 is very small, smaller than the XT (the newer model would probably be the T3i), and with the 40mm F/2.8 STM, it's stupidly light. Put it on Auto and let them go. (The 40 STM lens can be had rather inexpensively refurbished, if not on a good sale.) The 40mm Pancake lens barely sticks out beyond the front of the built-in flash, is small enough for 5 year olds to handle in both size and weight (it's 19% lighter than the D3200, but you'd probably be more comfortable with that). Not sure of the current pricing, but as of a month ago, should be easily within budget if you shop well enough. **BRENT**
  5. Fitz is going to be a sad panda. **BRENT**
  6. You're so mean. **BRENT**
  7. I think you can post them to FB... hmmmm... off to try something. **BRENT**
  8. I've been playing with a Lytro I picked up on indefinite loan from a buddy. I still can't figure out how to embed these things, so for now, a link to my Lytro page for some yoyo pix. I need to mess around with this a good bit more, but could be interesting. https://pictures.lytro.com/MexicanDragon **BRENT**
  9. Pedometer, odometer (GPS), HR monitor, BP monitor... Seems like for fitness tracking it could be great, a way to leave the phone for a run or bike. Also, what Nate said. Also, Dick Tracy. **BRENT**
  10. When did you leave the Nikon camp? **BRENT**
  11. I expect nothing less. So are we wagering bikes? **BRENT**
  12. My draft strategy was to realize that I had a draft at 830, at 1130. I wound up with 6 RBs. I had gone ahead and set my lineup, and I was trading two people off my bench for two people off someone else's bench. One of my guys wouldn't have been benched every week, but he wasn't a starter out of the gate. Cutler is a sentimental pick, and I wanted to shore up my TE space. I'm OK with new guys and old guys. I could have done a WR instead of TE, probably, but I was fine with the trade I accepted. Doesn't matter now. **BRENT**
  13. Peyton wasn't a part of that trade last year. Peyton was in the other league. **BRENT**
  14. More lopsided you said, but I wound up taking the players I traded for and winning that league. I was autodrafted 6 RBs this time around. I hate RBs, such a barbaric and archaic form of transportation. 4 is plenty. **BRENT**
  15. Bad trade, or the crucial trade which makes me stomp all over e'ryone? Also, I'll give you 3.50$ + a cookie for Robbie Gould. **BRENT**
  16. I was home watching TV with the kids and eating dinner. I completely forgot about this due to the holiday/feeling like a Sunday, plus I was prepared to do it on Sunday. Dammit. Oh well, I'll still beat Deepak. **BRENT**
  17. Congrat on the consensual enslavement and whiskey! **BRENT**
  18. ^ This is what I have, yo. Best 70$ (no taxes, no fees, it's just 69.99$ monthly) I spend. **BRENT** Heh, also saw they have something from our mayor. His daughter and my daughter were in the same classroom last year. Good guy.
  19. This is the one I got, FWIW. It's the same company, just a lower model, from what Colin got. http://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/Bodipedic-Essentials-8-inch-Queen-size-Memory-Foam-Mattress/6153386/product.html?searchidx=0 I had 15% off, and it was a bit less than that too. I think that company also does one that has a cooling gel layer on top. If you'd be interested, we can track down some decent overstock coupons, or let you know when the 12/15/20% ones come around. **BRENT**
  20. Also, I've been hearing good things about Casper. http://www.theverge.com/2014/4/22/5638400/casper-dreams-of-overturning-the-mattress-racket **BRENT**
  21. Hey Shelly, I meant to post when I saw this last week on phone but didn't get a chance, then forgot. I bought a mattress from overstock.com earlier this year. Looked for specs over name brand and wound up with an 8" mattress with a 3.25lb density top layer. It was definitely comfortable, and once I got to sleep the first night (30-45 minutes) I slept HARD. Fast forward a few months, and I start to notice my typical static back pain has lessened quite a bit. I rarely notice it, and have gone from taking something for back pain from once weekly to maybe once monthly. It was gradual, but I have felt better all around... And this was just a 250$ (after discount codes) mattress. I'm a fan. **BRENT**
  22. All I could muster was a 3.6 day weekend. Already had lunch with a friend and don't have to go back to work til Tuesday. W00t, as the kids used to say. **BRENT**
  23. My hero. **BRENT**
  24. I get my CAKE box set next month. May try to do it after that. I have way too much unopened stuff **BRENT**
  25. Happy early/belated, Tom! Sounds like a nice haul! Send my best to the missus. **BRENT**
