I got a 404 error when I signed up so my 30 day was "used." I messaged them and they got me set back up within half a day (it was late at night on a launch weekend.) FWIW, I used Spotify for background music too. With Tidal, I have been actually listening to stuff while at work. I got a good 5.5-6 hours in today after a last minute mandatory OT day. I was even complimented on mymusical stylings by my neighbor (I have Grados at work), so we would up talking music for a few hours (and working a little too.) **BRENT**

So I'm REALLY liking Tidal. I got a 30 day subscription and about 11 days in so far, so I have a little bit to decide, but I'm thinking about canceling Spotify. Spotify has a ton of stuff, but it's just background music. Tidal has me listening to music again. It's probably just some EQ tweak, in all actuality, but I've heard stuff in albums I hadn't heard before. That hasn't happened to me in a long time. That's usually "getting really good new headphone" territory. I wonder if Spotify will release some higher quality stuff soon... **BRENT**

My daughter (almost 12) is on the yearbook staff at her magnet school. Her grade went on a field trip to the Atlanta Aquarium, and she was one of four people allowed to take a camera. Is anyone else glitching where, when streaming, the song will repeat the last ~3 seconds or so a time or two, and then stop playing (if in an album, won't go to the next song)? Also, it's really spotty for me which albums will download after clicking "Offline." I've had to go switch completely offline, then back online, then flip to "Offline" on the album. This works some of the time to download things, but can't consistently do it. Really enjoying the SQ vs Spotify Extreme, though, from the 1-2 days of listening I have on my phone. **BRENT**

Just get a 2.1A charger, or try plugging it into your computer. You may not want to do that, but if you buy into Apple, you have to deal with Apple. One part of dealing with Apple is having to buy accessories to make it do what you want, which is charge faster. I'm 95% sure that the replacement you'd get would act the same way under the same usage conditions. **BRENT**

Also, to approach those times you'd need to have the phone off completely. It looks like Yosemite is pumping out 2.1A over USB, where previous versions (and most computers) put out 500mA. I don't know if it's a hardware+software thing, or just software, but it is actually possible that plugging into your machine will work out better than the 1A charger that came with it. Try the comp, then buy a 12W Apple charger, and deal. **BRENT**

This is on 802.11n 5ghz wifi off an Asus TM-AC1900. There are 4 laptops goings + things streaming on 2 TVs. I really need to get a 3x3 USB3.0 dongle. Do those exist yet? FWIW, if you have T-Mobile service, you can get this router (basically an RT-AC68U with some software tweaks) for a 25$ deposit if you walk into the store, or they'll do it over the phone and ship it next day (I believe). It's beastly, and I love it. My old WNDR3700 topped out at around 70-80Mbps on this machine. I really need to hardwire something; I have to beat Colin at this game. I was able to get this on my phone a couple days ago. Also, you should all get gigabit fiber. **BRENT**

I used to have a browser window open for it, but not sure if they have some other notification. It's possible that you can sync messages to Hangouts and they may come via that app. I have an extension in chrome that allows for standalone chat. It's something that popped up that Google offered.
