Happy Thursday, everyone! Xavier got a new gaming desktop this morning, along with a new gaming mouse. What I was not expecting to deal with was the keyboard that I knew I had laying around is without a USB plug... it is PS/2. We are now on the search for a keyboard... This should be fun. We've had a good morning so far, good times with my side of the family last night, and off to visit the other side later today. The other side (great grandpa, the redeeming member of that side of the family, tends to have a lot of food and whiskey, so I'm looking forward to that.) **BRENT**

Reks, riding my road bike always made my back feel better (post-microdysectomy for Cauda Equina Syndrome). It was probably the stretch that I just wasn't getting elsewhere, but started to get better after every ride. Lungs and legs and, well, everything else always hurt, but that's because, well... So I forgot to cancel last month, but I canceled this morning when I remembered it. I checked the usage of mobile data between Tidal and Spotify from Nov 29th to today. Tidal: 7.72GB Spotify: 609MB I think I did that much because I downloaded a couple more albums to compare with Tidal. **BRENT**

I used to pull 9 hour days starting at 1am and ending at 10:30, go home, take a nap for an hour or two, then took care of two kids from 2pm-10:30pm. Got dinner, a nap, then back to work at 1am. I then transitioned to a 5am start time. You'll deal. **BRENT**

Pulled muscle and quadrupling the dose of meds I had him on, plus a heating pad... seems that's about all that can be done. I took the time to try to get my APAP (FINALLY), as the place I was going to go through was just 30 seconds down the street from his doctor (they're 25 minutes away from the new place). Well, after multiple phone calls to insurance and the center, I find out that the former employee started the authorization, never finished/submitted it, but filed it under "Done." It take 7-14 BUSINESS days to go through, too. (This was supposed to have been started on 11/14). Needless to say, I wasn't happy. The sleep center people apologized profusely, and are going to work on pushing through a rush order with insurance to get everything approved. Yep, that's about how it goes. Xavier, however, seems to be in good spirits and is being a trooper. **BRENT**

This makes me so happy. The only time I want a mouse is when I game, but hands are constantly between mouse and keyboard at work all day. This would make me at least 7% more efficient. I need a doctor's note. **BRENT**

I have Windows 8.1 on my laptop. I log in, Metro pops up, I hit the windows key or alt+tab, and I don't see metro again until I lock my machine or sign in again. I really don't get what the big deal is. **BRENT**

A buddy of mine brought his daughter (who's a friend of Zoe's) out to catch the concert, and he snapped a quick pic of Zoe and me at the top of the concert hall. Here's a knee-high view of us on stage; thankfully I was hidden from view on this one (2nd row, center). **BRENT**
