  1. Hey guys. Having some car issues that make me not want to drive 250 miles, but trying to get a buddy or two to come with me. Thanks for the call last night, John. **BRENT**
  2. I have know Zach a long time, and he only wears jorts and a wife beater on special occasions; barely more than a suit. **BRENT**
  3. Yo. You gotta remind me of this stuff, Theo Just now seeing this. There is a meet in Nashville area (Spring Hill) tomorrow, April 18th. The info is http://www.head-fi.org/t/753367/music-city-meet-vol-3-nashville-tn-spring-2015-april-18-2015/ If there's anyone who wants to go, LMK. I'm probably coming in from Chattanooga. I think there's someone local-ish to Nashville from here, no? **BRENT**
  4. Some kind of spicy chicken nachos and Zoƫ got a dang k-suh-dillah. And we got a cheese dip. And I got a margarita, because I am going to wait in line with hundreds of tween and teenage girls (and some well dressed teenage guys) to let me daughter meet a YouTube celebrity. I may get a few more. **BRENT** Edit: drove two hours to get here, not looking forward to drive home with hearing damage from the screaming.
  5. Crap, look around for some new customer deals and have it in your roommate's name. Also, call back and talk to someone else. Also, see what you can get with a basic TV and internet plan, it may be cheaper. Or, you can move to Chattanooga and get 1Gbps synchronous for 69.99$/mo. **BRENT**
  6. RIP, Devilfish. A buddy of mine used to play against this guy in high stakes online poker. The first hand his daughter ever played was against this guy. She lost, but cool nonetheless. I always liked this guy when I was following and playing a lot. http://www.theguardian.com/sport/2015/apr/07/dave-devilfish-ulliott-poker-dies-cancer?CMP=fb_gu **BRENT**
  7. You make more excuses than me. **BRENT**
  8. Hey CJ, why don't you just Happy Gilmore it, throw it in the back seat of the car, and go cash it? Congrats, man, seems like you guys did a nice job with this project. **BRENT**
  9. On our way home from the beach. I heard that Stewby's Seafood Shanty is THE place to eat. Much to the chagrin of the kids, we come to this as we pull up. I promised I would take them wherever they wanted, but I wanted to go here. Combo of fried chicken (for Xavier to try and me to finish) and fried shrimp for me (so good,) and enough fries to let everyone get a taste. Needless to say, I went back and bought another 10$ worth of food, and smiles all around. I needed to punctuate this trip with a , and I did. Hope to be home before Thursday. **BRENT**
  10. Unlimited biscuit and gravy. <3 **BRENT**
  11. DUDE! Vitalogy? OMS, I want to hear that! **BRENT**
  12. Yep. You heard me. I had to brace myself to keep her from "dancing" me over. **BRENT**
  13. You should if you get the chance. I even got to break up a fight between a girl my size and a friend-of-a-friend (who was barely a buck 15) during the opening song. The girl wound up throwing down 3 times before she was escorted out by her BF who had finally gotten embarrassed by her. Good times Such an interesting group of fans too. From the rave kids to the future/not-yet-caught serial killer types to the hipsters, and the late 40s lady dressed in a spring dress, shawl, and a doesn't-give-a-fuck attitude. I'd rather see them next time in a chair instead of standing in a venue for a few hours, but totally worth it. Ninja wound up crowd surfing quite a few times, and that was the only time he wound up fully naked... Not bad for a 13+ (with parental supervision) show. I was bummed they made me check my camera so all I got was crappy cell pix. Next time I need to be sneakier. **BRENT**
  14. Die Antwoord show last night. Yo-Landi is as adorable as you'd imagine on stage. Very short show, but very good. There was a song off the new album I wanted to hear but they did most of their good stuff. **BRENT**
  15. Ari, I LOVE that last one. I shared it with a an old bike racer, and a pro photog buddy of mine (from the yoyo world). Both dug it. **BRENT**
  16. I have taken maybe 6 pages of notes the past two years and sign 15-20 checks/yr. I sign my name on receipts and sign and date my monthly review. I love a good writing tool, but I have spent more time reading this thread on an average day as of late than I have writing. **BRENT**
  17. You are a horrible person, my friend. **BRENT**
  18. I think you would wind up going with a Bluetooth mouse, Nate. It's slightly interesting to me, but only slightly. The resolution at that size should be great. **BRENT**
  19. Shimano 11-speed 105 (5800) groupset for 338$. Pretty crazy deal for anyone in the market. Wish I could justify/swing it. I've looked at 5700 shifters and those are 200ish by themselves. http://www.merlincycles.com/shimano-105-5800-special-offer-groupset-36-52-chainset-12-25-cassette-80109.html?awc=4456_1425943139_fcbe9aaf1b40afe58be7b92f336843ae&source=awUS&utm_source=AffiliateWindow&utm_medium=AffiliateMarketing&utm_campaign=Awin FIxed specification as follows: Chainset: 36/52 172.5mm Cassette: 12/25 Front Derailleur: Braze-On Rear Derailleur: SS Model Chain: HG600 Brakes: BR5800 Bottom Bracket: English STI Levers: Complete boxed set with all brke and gear cables All aftermarket boxed with all instructions and original packaging. **BRENT**
  20. Changed my spark plugs. I had a dead coil recently on 3, so that one looks worse/differently bad. I went to do it when I changed the coil out in January but didn't have a long enough extension. After borrowing one, it was either too cold, I was too busy, or in too much back pain to spend an hour under the hood. Test drive felt favorable and it feels peppy again. Now I'm hoping my mileage goes back up the 7-10 mpg I've been down recently. **BRENT**
  21. Antonio, I wasn't saying to use that as your main solution, I just wanted to check to see if the mobile would work on the same network. I haven't read stretch's link yet but I'm sure it's frustrating. Good luck with it! **BRENT**
  22. No. Install on phone and download the albums you want at home on Wi-Fi for offline use. You can select a tab just for the offline stuff you have downloaded. Try that and see what you think. **BRENT**
  23. Have you tried through phone? I do HiFi downloads over phone and don't usually have issues. Are you using Chrome? **BRENT**
  24. 7 inches this morning in my driveway. I thought about parking on the side of the road so I could get in and out if I need to, but I got groceries last night, plenty of stuff to eat cold if we had to. We have tons of blankets and all our devices are charged, just in case. They shut down traffic up and down the mountains at one point (where my mom and a handful of my friends live.) As of last night, with a solid 3-4" on the ground (the MOST we were expected to have), work was delayed until 10am. At 8am, with 7-8" in the lower elevations, and even more at higher, they called off work today. An extra day of hanging out with the kids and playing in the snow works for me. FWIW, with a little snow/a little ice, and some very cold days, the kids have only gone to school for 1.5 days in the past two weeks. Good times. **BRENT**
