Heh, we'll have to dig deep both physically and fiscally to make the century, but if I do it, I'll do it! **BRENT** Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk -

Thanks so much, guys! Xavier is so excited that he's beating me already He was quick to point out that my mom donated to me, but not him. I figured some of you may enjoy. **BRENT** -
So next weekend I think we're going to give this whole "d-_-b Family Tidal Plan" thing a shot; anyone else want in? **BRENT**

Hey everyone! My son Xavier and I have been training this year, riding hundreds of miles on the roads and the trainer, to prepare for the 2016 Tour de Cure! We hope you will support us in our efforts to help wipe out diabetes! This is my 4th year doing this ride, and Xavier's 3rd. With Xavier's new road bike this year, he wanted to push a bit further on the ride. If we meet our goals, we're going to do the 40 mile route. If we hit a combined 2900$ - representing the 29 million people living with diabetes in the U.S. - we will do a metric century! If we stretch and hit 5000$ combined, we will do our best to do the *gulp* full century ride. Xavier's page Brent's page For a little added incentive, my team (BlueCrossBlueShield of Tennessee) is doing a drawing for a Haro Flightline One bike. Every 5$ is one entry, with 5 for 20$. If one of you wins it, we'll figure something out. Thanks for looking, Brent

Xavier and I did a 25.75 mile training ride today. My Garmin was set for run instead of bike and I missed a bit, but we averaged almost 14mph with the first 8-10 at a 17mpg avg. We couldn't hang with my friend on her tri bike training for an Ironman, but Xavier killed it today! **BRENT** Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk

FYI: Whois shows that site registered in Texas in 2011, and there are awards dating to 2012. I'm pretty sure it's a different Naaman, somehow. I mean, if it's him, I'm sure he will rue the day we weren't there for the soft opening. **BRENT** Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk

Heh. Blocked at work for being a "malicious site." **BRENT**

Jack White got fairly emotional starting at the 2 minutes mark during "You've Got Her In Your Pocket", which is one of my fav White Stripes songs. I didn't know this was out, but between this and the new Wilco, I may have to buy some vinyl for the first time in a few months. **BRENT**

Got in the mood for some burgers and fries. After two stores and an hour and a half shopping, I didn't feel like it last night, so amazing lunch it is. May as well do it right. Boar's Head yellow cheddar Boar's Head white cheddar Halfway through the 6oz (exactly) S-V/125°/cast iron seared burger, I realized I wish I could still eat a ton, because I wanted that spare one i made. Zoë thought the ~fries were good, but not as good as my mom's. Not bad praise from a teenage girl, especially as she's more of a fry-in-the-oven than a peanut-oil-in-fryer kinda gal. Xavier loved them and the burger, which is awesome. For a first time sous-vide cook, I'm super happy with it. The fries wound up being a lot better than the usual frozen fair and weight wise, even the organic is a hair cheaper than the frozen stuff we usually get, and those can be prepped while fryer is warming up. Great use of 2+ hours today. Now it's nap time. **BRENT** Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk

Dig that, Carl. Here's a link to the collection if you wanted to take a look. http://www.crateandbarrel.com/capitol I forgot how expensive C&B is. One of these days I need to look into not being poor; I kinda dig some of that stuff. It also makes the actual vinyl they sell seem STUPIDLY cheap. **BRENT**

Have you seen them live? Highly recommended. **BRENT**

Tom has a fantastic vinyl collection, and while he may have a DAC or a CDP laying around, he's almost all vinyl. I always enjoyed chilling in the listening room in Atlanta, and would love to make it up to VA. Perhaps one day. **BRENT**

Yeah, I was out and didn't remember the draft until Todd messaged me 5 minutes before it started. I'm not sure if we can redraft but I was at the lakehouse all day and didn't have signal, so just now getting all of these messages. Sorry guys; I had biscuits today. **BRENT**

If everyone does keepers then that isn't a problem. **BRENT** Sent from my R1 HD using Tapatalk

May as well get a new amp to go with them too, and a new DAC, and a new Bendy Head to display them! (Need my address for the commission check, @Iron_Dreamer?) **BRENT**

I looked and looked for a cheap repair stand back when I was looking for Xavier's road bike (see race finish pic above.) I came to the conclusion that there's really nothing you want to touch under 100-130. I'd just find a proper-height tree branch and hang it from the saddle and work on them like that. I have a hanging-from-top-tube hitch rack, and that seems to work fairly well for my bike, but YMMV for kid bikes with that solution. **BRENT**

Draft Type Snake Draft Date Sunday, September 4, 2016 at 9:00 PM ET Seconds Per Pick 90 Draft Order Randomized One Hour Prior to Draft Time I have things set up to go Sunday Sept 4th at 9pm eastern. As of now, we have a randomized draft pick order, but that can be changed up until 8pm on Sunday. If some of you want to set it earlier, let us know and Jeff or I can do a randomizer. Also, it looks like we have 1 keeper set up. I'm not exactly sure how that works at the moment, but log in and take a look at things. I think we're still waiting on @MoonShine to chime in, yes? **BRENT**
