  1. Then do something like this. Was thinking Abe's was OK, but that's coming from years and years ago when it seems like it wasn't shady. https://slickdeals.net/f/10209356-65-lg-oled-tv-4k-curved-3d-oled65c6p-2400-free-shipping-serviceexpressnow 2400$ on ebay, and there are 100$ or 8% codes going around,, and if you look in comments from this one or other ones, there will be ways of getting CC price protection, and you'll see talk of how warranty issues aren't an issue. Or just pay 3 grand. Whatever. **BRENT**
  2. Abe's of Maine has it for 2299, then you do price protection via credit card with something like Joe's AV. There are ways of doing this. Also, LG seems to be good with warranties from reputable but not quite authorized dealers. **BRENT** Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
  3. The B6 65" has been close to 2k before. There are some ways to get it there. I'd reach out to the ginger avenger when he returns from his travels in the desert. Also, Stretch, since Money is a soon-to-be-local, that sale would make sense. **BRENT** Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
  4. This is what I was going to suggest last night, but was too inebriated to remember to type it. Get the 75 when released, and build the setup with that in mind. Spend a few months with the 65 being slightly "not right" but like Adam said, the 75" has 33% more screen area, and will definitely be worth it. 65" is a nice bedroom/bathroom TV size, or a good size to use with in the bike room while you're on the Peloton. Makes perfect sense. **BRENT**
  5. Stretch, check out Canyon Bikes. Well thought of direct to consumer bike that we can't get in the states til later this year. That could be cool. https://www.canyon.com/en-us/mtb/ **BRENT** Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
  6. Ludacris from the VIP pier at Riverbend. **BRENT**
  7. Ask Colin, he uses one a bit. We enjoy the recs of The Sweet Home. **BRENT** Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
  8. It's over UCI minimum. I say junk it. Have any shots with it on the ground? **BRENT** Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
  9. A PITA. **BRENT** Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
  10. My part-time cat, John Dorian. **BRENT**
  11. Is that legal in stock class? I'd check the rule books, just in case. **BRENT**
  12. Muahahahahaha. That's good enough. I have a couple buddies (brothers) who run an e-bike shop locally, so I've gotten to ride a few. This may be a little small in their largest, but I think it'd it the bill. Faraday Porteur in British Racing Green (or white, if you're one of those people) is a fun little around town bike. Definitely get the Brooks Saddle upgrade if you look at that, and all the racks. And don't forget the important part... whisk(e)y flask holders! https://www.ahearnecycles.com/shop/spaceman-bicycle-flask-holster https://www.ahearnecycles.com/products/ As far as the Stretch-powered stuff, there are going to be a lot of good options. A dual suspension XC bike or maybe a nice hardtail trail bike, in 27.5+ or 29+, would probably work out well. Looking for something a bit esoteric/bike nerdy? **BRENT**
  13. Straight up fat bikes, or plus bikes (27.5+ / 650b+ / 29+ (from Trek))? Fats bikes will have their place, but I think they will eventually fade to fairly niche. Plus bikes, though, seem to have a found a place in the mainstream. They have a bit more comfort due to more air volume/lower pressures, and they tend to have more grip as well, while still fitting into many more bike racks than a fat bike would. Lots of good options out there for what you'd like. Also, you can probably get by with just 3-4 bikes. A few less than Jeff, but since you definitely, for sure, bought that trainer, you don't have to worry about your disc brake gravel/cross bike not fitting on your smart trainer. **BRENT** Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
  14. Worms, you say? Cans, you say? This should be fun. If DOTU chimes in on if he can remember where we rented bikes from years ago, that'd be great. I know we had Trek and Santa Cruz. Stretch, didn't you get your kid a bike? Which brand? Would you want to stick with the same brand (my kid likes some of our bike stuff to match.) I'd get Zach's take on this one, but while it's a couple years old, and doesn't have a trendy 1x setup (1 chainring in front, 11-12 gears in back,) it will give you easier gears to get up those hills. https://www.sunshinebicycle.com/products/moots-rogue-ybb-2014-20-ti Also, I agree with Jeff, you need at least 3 bikes. Budget 2.7 BAI. **BRENT**

  16. She did two songs on their reimagination of "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band " I really dug it, and have the FLips' autographed vinyl if that **BRENT** Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
  17. That's the dream. Buddy had that. He liked it, but didn't think it was amazing. Mine was pretty damn good, but the 13$ carafe of mimosas may have had something to do with that. **BRENT**
  18. So good. **BRENT**
  19. I fucking hate you. Beautiful knockaround bike, Jeff. **BRENT** Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk

  23. Thanks so much for all the birthday wishes, everyone! I started out the day the night before with dinner/drinks/trivia/drinks (including chugging a coors light in a chugging contest to end a tie breaker for 2nd place, and took the 20$ gift cert prize), then went out for a mixed drink and double tequila shots, then finished the night with another drink and some darts. I got in around 2 am and was up at 6 something to get the dead Jeep whose lights were left on. Then Zoe graduated from 8th grade (school is Pre-K through 8, so this is literally the last day she will probably ever see some of these people.) Xavier and Zoe both had exhibit nights at school, and Xavier had his band concert, along with Zoe having a graduation party across town. Ended up the night with a drink with one of the girls from Trivia last night, then gaming with Grahame. Also, for the first time in probably 15-20 years, I didn't have Mexican food for my birthday. On the bright side (for you people,) I didn't have a biscuit either. Thanks so much for all the birthday wishes. I'm going to go pass out from exhaustion and then start my slide into senility like the rest of you old bastards. <3 **BRENT**
  24. I imagine a PM to Postjackis in order. **BRENT** Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
