  1. Genius looks like a great bike; just do it! (Well, I mean, 2018s should be blown out soon, no?) Were I in the market, I'd probably give a big look at this Canyon. That is SO much bike for the $, and GX Eagle is probably the way to go for MOST people. I dig my XT M8000, but I find myself wishing I had a big cog in the back.. I love the KS LEV Integra on my hardtail; this one has a different model of the KS LEV, but it definitely adds a lot to a bike if you haven't ridden with one. I kinda regret getting Xavier a dual suspension bike. I should have gotten him a 500$ hardtail and me a nice D/S bike, so I'd have ANY chance of keeping up with him in the dirt
  2. OK, so... yeah. Want some help shopping? Edit: (for a new bike)
  3. If only you were into DIY, you could just rebuild yourself If you get me the years/model #s, I can look around to see what's out there as far as parts/rebuild/instructions/difficulty. 26" wheels, right? Do you still have your connection for C'Dale?
  4. I'm sure a rebuild would be enough, Nate. That said, new bikes are great! Get well soon, Ken! Sent from my LG-H932 using Tapatalk
  5. Therre's some hotness in there, Jeff.

  9. Xavier and I got out for an urban assault/skills practice day yesterday Had a blast, and we both worked on getting wheels off the ground a bit better. Xavier is rolling over large curbs like a boss and killing it on stairs. Example A: Example B: Notice the arms of victory in B Sent from my LG-H932 using Tapatalk
  10. Guess you just need to go back now. Sent from my LG-H932 using Tapatalk
  11. Nice, Ken! Xavier loves the SRAM NX1 (11 speed) on his bike. A dropper is all he wants as well to make his bike perfect. Which Trek do you have again? I just remember the e-bike. Sent from my LG-H932 using Tapatalk
  12. So, I brought all my vinyl home from TN. Now I need a TT. Probably a "starter" table for now. Anyone have experience with this Denon, or the upgrade package? https://www.turntablelab.com/products/denon-dp-300f-fully-automatic-turntable?s=recomatic https://www.turntablelab.com/products/denon-dp-300f-turntable-ortofon-2m-red-upgrade I really want to just buy Jeff's Scoutmaster and be done with it, but this should tide me over until I get drunk enough for a Prime Scout, right? 13. Nate, Xavier and I are still down, but my car broke down right after our last ride, and I don't have anything that I can ride to. Have a buddy coming to help with car this weekend I think, though. Also, there's a buddy from college who is out here who wants to ride, and he's ok enough to not want to do things I will die on, so that's nice Loving your pix. Sent from my LG-H932 using Tapatalk
  14. Came to TN, bought ten biscuits. Stay safe out there, everyone. Sent from my LG-H932 using Tapatalk

  19. So I wound up getting some KZ ATE IEMs after a friend recommended them as a cheap IEM. This version has a built-in mic. None of the stock tips are great, but if you upgrade to Complys (I went with the T-500). This setup sounds way too good for 30$ (with 3 sets of tips being the bulk of that). With the Complys, it's comfy and blocks a reasonable bit of noise. I think of it as the "KSC-75 of IEMs." Perfect? No. But I found myself reaching for them quite a bit. There are even some little gold colored weights on the cable to help with the fit. It works rather well. That being said...
  20. Lost another friend of mine. Cyclist/audiophile/bastard. You guys probably would have gotten along with him. He is the friend I made during my days with the Tour de Cure. He raised a lot of $$$ for the cause and he was good to Xavier, even donating Xavier's final 20$ in his last year while we were at a rest stop in the middle of a ride. 55 years old. Had a heart attack. Died alone and HR found him a couple days later when he didn't show up for work. He was surrounded by my Project Debut Carbon I sold him when I moved out here. That's 2 friends I've lost in the past 30 days. Fuck. RIP, Michael Woodard. Sent from my LG-H932 using Tapatalk
