From what I understand... ^ This. I'm not a fan of the iPhone, obviously, but their browser is top notch, best in the game. It has a few things I don't like, but I have despised Opera Mini every time I've touched it (though I haven't tried it on my new HD2 yet). I love Opera Mobile, though, from back in the day. **BRENT**

Yay us! Gracias. ^ This. Danke. Appreciated. What colin said... To add to that, I wouldn't be surprised if there was more action in the "JHAudio Stuffs" thread. Just pointing out a little possible foreshadowing, as this position allows headphones Yay Monkey! You're welcome, and I'm almost as excited for you as I am for me. Congrats, Colin! No problem, Scott. I understand things have to be spelled out for some people. Thanks! s/Scott/Jin/ Appreciated. We try. It'll be nice to get back to work. FWIW, I'm starting a new job... Colin's starting a career. Really proud of that kid. I've had the past 10 days off since my last job ended. Got lucky finding this one quick. I seriously don't know how I did over 900 days sans job/stay-at-home Dad. Thanks for all the support. **BRENT**

wow, so the sansa clip+ is actually a good player now
MexicanDragon replied to Chekhonte's topic in Portable Audio
I took my daughter's Clip+ to work one day filled with FLAC with HP-1s hangin' around. It's really so unintrusive that it wouldn't be any big deal to just keep attached to the headphones or keep it clipped inside a pocket. The mini->1/4" adapter was MUCH more of a pain than the clip+, not to mention it weighs virtually nothing. An incredibly small FLAC player with 24 gigs (8+16) is just around 100$. Really, though, I had a decent variety with just the 4 gig with about half and half FLAC/MP3. You know, Best Buy has a great return policy. **BRENT** -

I think mike was talking a few days ago, either in this thread or the iPhone/iPod Touch thread, about a 10$ app that turns the jailbroken iPhone into a wifi hotspot. **BRENT**

First off: G'luck, Thrice. My day started with the knowledge that today was my planned last day at work. I planned on talking to my supervisor about the possibility of an extension. I finally caught him, and regrettably, the budget was already blown for staffing at this point. I wished him well and went on about my day. Fast forward to two hours before the end of the day. I come back from break, sit down to do a little more work, then I get a call. Normally I just reach down to silence the vibrations when I see on the caller ID that it is someone from the staffing agency calling. I walk out and take the call and it turns out they have 3 positions open and I scored incredibly well on a test they used (50% higher than what was called for). They talk to me about taking one more test and I was able to fit that in just an hour later. I have an interview that will be scheduled for either Tuesday or Wednesday, but right now it is looking good. I found out I had a glowing review from my supervisor. This along with having 1/3rd of a year working for the current company + my past experience with the post office, it seems to be all but a formality. If all goes as planned, I'll have next week off (Zoe's spring break, so needed it off anyways), then should be back at the new position the following Monday. Good Friday indeed. **BRENT**
