I use an old BB8900 as my main line. I have wifi calling (UMA), and there is a fantastic keyboard. I'm about 40WPM with it, which is fine. BBM will work well if everyone around you uses it, it can be rather handy. For the most part, though, I talk people out of Blackberries these days. I talked a woman (and her daughter) out of a BB while I was using a BB while talking. I also carry multiple phones (down to two now, though). A 10 or 20$/month plan is fantastic, and well worth it. If you didn't know, one of the major perks with BBM vs Texting is that you get a delivery confirmation and a "read" confirmation on every message (checkmark if it's sent, checkmark with D for delivered (it's hit their handset), and checkmark with an R if read/opened). That, along with groups, are really one of the few redeeming features of the BB right now, software wise. OS6 has some enhancements, but isn't out for everything yet. If that phone has 3G, there MAY be the option to USB tether if you have desktop manager 6.x. **BRENT**
