I get in at 11:45am on Friday at PIE. It's looking more like I'll need a ride. I have two friends (oddly enough, both named Kim) down there, but work schedules changed and now both working Friday, with one working morning (the chef). Was hoping to do lunch there (she recommended "Red Mesa", I believe). Alas @ lunch, but hopefully I'll get to meet up with her (and other Kim) at some point in the weekend. I fly out Monday morning at 8am from PIE (Alex, early breakfast/send-off, right?) **BRENT**

Happy birthday, Zoe! (My 8 year old daughter, who is buying headphones with her b-day $$$). Most of you don't know her, but I don't care. She digs headphones and listens to FLAC on her Sansa Clip +, sometimes with PX100s. Man, I feel old. **BRENT**

Just get a new Mini and put your 200 albums and 200 movies on it and hook it up with a single cable. Bam, done. Move the 1G ATV to a bedroom and you have movies + a solid computer/TV combo for a few years. Sure, it's throwing $500 at a problem, but isn't throwing $500 at a problem what most Apple aficionados are all about? **BRENT**

Why not just get a new Mac Mini and hook it up to the TV through HDMI and blahbity bloop? **BRENT**

I use an old BB8900 as my main line. I have wifi calling (UMA), and there is a fantastic keyboard. I'm about 40WPM with it, which is fine. BBM will work well if everyone around you uses it, it can be rather handy. For the most part, though, I talk people out of Blackberries these days. I talked a woman (and her daughter) out of a BB while I was using a BB while talking. I also carry multiple phones (down to two now, though). A 10 or 20$/month plan is fantastic, and well worth it. If you didn't know, one of the major perks with BBM vs Texting is that you get a delivery confirmation and a "read" confirmation on every message (checkmark if it's sent, checkmark with D for delivered (it's hit their handset), and checkmark with an R if read/opened). That, along with groups, are really one of the few redeeming features of the BB right now, software wise. OS6 has some enhancements, but isn't out for everything yet. If that phone has 3G, there MAY be the option to USB tether if you have desktop manager 6.x. **BRENT**
