  1. Thanks to Martin Luther King, Jr., (and not having to work tomorrow), I was able to stay up long enough to watch all of Season 2 of 30 Rock today. **BRENT**
  2. If it had a reasonable amount of RAM, it'd still be great, but I have so much stuff crash it's ridiculous. It's great for Netflix, though. It typically crashes about 1 out of 3 loadings of a page on Slower Forum, though. **BRENT**
  3. "Our friend Arnold Kim of MacRumors has verified that the iPhone 4 contains 512 MB of RAM, up from 256 MB in the current iPhone 3GS and the iPad. It turns out that Apple mentioned this during a session with developers at last week’s Worldwide Developers Conference. The session (#147) is downloadable for free for registered Apple developers. 512 MB of RAM would explain why the new iMovie app only works on the iPhone 4. It would also suggest that multitasking (coming with iOS 4) and general usability will be much smoother on an iPhone 4 compared to Apple’s other mobile offerings." http://www.wired.com/gadgetlab/2010/06/iphone-4-ram/
  4. I'm with Shelly, the iPad 1 is painfully slow. **BRENT**
  5. I need to get back into guns... **BRENT**
  6. *hugs* Great to see you(r posts), V. Now, when are we all meeting here? http://universalwhiskyexperience.com/ (Facebook linked me... Zuck = stalker^max) **BRENT**
  7. That sucks, man. Surgery, or is it one of the types that could possibly heal on its own over time? **BRENT**
  8. Dilaudid I/V drip was the best thing ever. However, it wasn't worth what I had to go through to get it. What happened, man? **BRENT**
  9. Nice... which ones? I need to re-up my collection. Should work on that today. **BRENT**
  10. Did anyone else double check to make sure this wasn't from Dom instead of CJ? **BRENT**
  11. Epileptic machines are stupid... you don't need 'em. Ellipses are for writing... not awkwardly walking/running/gliding. Hang in there, chica. **BRENT**
  12. **BRENT**
  13. Check out stocking girl's reflection... did you notice that she's a unicorn? **BRENT**
  14. I went to pick up a "woo hoo, it's payday!" bottle of Rye (Looked for Willett, wound up with Sazerac), and stumbled upon a scotch tasting. **BRENT**
  15. It only has two positions... Off, and 11. **BRENT**
  16. @Tyll, what about the Behringer iNuke Boom? http://www.theverge.com/2012/1/11/2699890/behringers-inuke-boom-is-the-essence-of-ces **BRENT**
  17. I'm trying to remember where I saw that this was faked, but it's fake. It also surfaced from last year's CES. http://www.engadget.com/2010/02/18/hanwas-tube-powered-usb-dongle-promises-dts-audio-on-the-go/ Yeah, this has been around for a while now... Still kinda looks cool, no? **BRENT**
  18. Good luck, Ken. I know it's tough. **BRENT**
  19. Great hearing from you, Tyll. Make sure you let us know how those Ferrari cans are! Funny, you hate CES, and that's where I was/am really wanting to be. Best... toy store... ever. **BRENT**
  20. Sigh... 8 point adjustment for DP. **BRENT**
  21. So did DP and I just tie in League 2, or am I still drunk from last night? **BRENT**
  22. Listening to this at work... Just a few eps in, but interesting.
  23. Awesome! I'm surprised you didn't live-tweet it, though. **BRENT**
  24. Heh. I was without Internet and cell coverage all but about 2 hours yesterday, didn't even see that til this morning... Would have been a solid machine. Thx for the heads-up, though. **BRENT**
  25. Acer TimelineX AS5830T... i3-2310/4/640/15.6"/7-8 hour real world batt life, mostly aluminum casing (plastic on bottom only), 399$ out the door. I type a lot, and it has a nice keyboard. Not great, but good. Also has USB 3.0 and S/PDIF. I can meet it spec wise, mostly, but haven't seen build quality (harddrive withstanding) to match it for under about 800$. Saw an i5 Envy for 829$, but that's in the fiscally irresponsible realm. **BRENT**
