Hey everyone, For those who don't know, Kristen (kids' mom) has worked at Seattle Humane since it opened its new facility about 2 years ago. They've been largely closed to the public and have had most of their animals in foster care during COVID, but their situation is starting to change and they're now able to take in some more surgeries/surrenders and start helping animals and families in this area again. I've gotten to hear some of the amazing work they've been able to accomplish with keeping/placing/helping out, and I'm pretty happy to be a part of it. We've fostered multiple special needs dogs, and even adopted a mostly-deaf and mostly-blind miniature poodle we fell in love with, but lost this year. Seattle Humane 's Rescue Squad is doing a "Day of Giving" fundraiser and I wanted to pass it along if anyone is interested in helping out. I kicked it off with a donation in ZoëBellë's memory, but there are options specifically for dogs/cats/foster/older animals/special needs/etc. Thanks for taking a minute to look. Brent

In for sample pair. I tried out the bass adjustment cable at RMAF after VPI mentioned liking it on a pair of his JH customs. I definitely think it has its place, and like Justin, I think it's useful. I know we all want "the most accurate reproduction possible" and blah blah blah. That's going to be subjective, I'd say, unless we were actually the ones recording it, but I'm more into "I just want something that's fun and sounds good" these days, and if you have something that can blur those lines depending on mood, I'm all for it.

Just saw one of these pop up in my feed with Matthew McConaughey, which looks like it was episode 2. Will try to check this out; agree about the concept.

I've found that with USB mics, they work best (or at all) out of a USB2.0 port. USB3 seems to fuck with it. May want to do a non-blue one.

Did some research; 2012 had 320, and Tidal came over in 2014, so 93% chance I heard 320 vs FLAC. Think that was pre-MQA/Masters by a bit.

Interesting. I was using IEMs (Dita The Answer) out of a Pico Slim back when Tidal came out. I'd say I could tell with over half. I still have both, but use Tidal about 80% of the time. There is a site/service that lets you bring playlists over, and what I largely listen to on Spotify is a certain playlist. (It was easier on data when I was commuting as well; networks got bogged down some on the commutes home.)
