Justin, you have some very nice flats. Also, what size do you wear? Mike, what was that 5.10 shoe you were interested in? **BRENT**
-
Yeah, the M520s are about 5.6oz lighter/pair than the M530 Trails (which are still a good bit lighter than my flats. I'm thinking, for 11$ more than ONE pair of Egg Beaters, that's a killer combo. Now to find some shoes (and kick myself for not combining shipping from the bike purchase, but I think these prices are new, I'm sure I would've noticed that last night). **BRENT**

I used to use CrankBros Egg Beaters when they first came out. I think I had the second pair in town. I think I may just wait around and see if I can find a deal on them. Another option is to get some SPDs. OK, Shimano M520L for 27$, and the M530 Trail for 34$. Hmmm... maybe I'll just get a combo of those. M530 Trail seems to be well thought of, in comparison to the XT and XTR Trail versions. **BRENT** Edit: Nate, you're insane.

Thanks for the advice, Jim, but I meant to say that I think I want to get some mtn shoes. As much as I'd like to have 2 shoes and specific pedals for each, I think I'd like the option to run, say, Egg Beaters (what I used to run back in the day) on the road bike, and then have another set on the mtn bike. It's not a big deal to have mtn shoes on a road bike, but other way around? I'm not up to clipless on the hardtail yet, but eventually, sure. The extra drag from mtn shoes won't matter relative to, you know, "the engine." **BRENT**

I'm tired of hearing people bitch about me bitching about wanting a road bike. No name (carbon) frame, Tiagra/105 mix, Shimano R500 (Tiagra) wheels, about 18.5 pounds. Yeah, I know, I've gotta upgrade the wheels, drivetrain, bars, stem, post, saddle, and frame, but this will do til that happens. OK, so I'm counting on you guys to make my lazy ass get up and ride. **BRENT** P.S. Now I need some pedals and shoes. Inexpensive stuff. Haven't looked in ages, what do you guys think?

No single speed here, but I dig that bike. I think something running the new SRAM XX1 group would be great, but SS? Not even on my best day. I did see a guy on a Niner Air9Carbon with Niner RDO carbon fork as a single speed, the guy was STUPID fast. Enjoy the new toy (if you've already gotten it!) **BRENT**

Jeff, I dig that bike in the wild. Looks good. **BRENT**

HD580/600 Grill/650 cable... b/c the 600 is one of the ugliest headphones I've ever seen. Pairs great with the AriPower Extreme. Also, it's the only full size can I have, so I gotta like it, no? **BRENT**

Dammit! http://www.airbornebicycles.com/products/99-delta.aspx 53/55/57cm Airborne disc brake/Apex equipped cross bikes, 749$ shipped. REALLY wish I could do this right now. We'll see. They were supposedly sold out, but they found a few and put 'em up earlier today. Rack mounts, clearance for I think a 42 or 44mm tire. **BRENT**

You beat me AND Jeff to that one. Well done! **BRENT**

Yeah, handlebars need to be rotated 40-60* forward, I'd say. probably did slip when you were tightening them. Lookin' good, Justin! Now, to get you a shock pump and Camelbak and Stan's Tubeless kit and dropper post and... **BRENT**

Post the model that you're looking for, CJ. That would help. **BRENT**

Hey guys, this is a buddy of mine who has a good shot at winning a contest to be a professional racer via a contest. Top 10 get to do a 3 day competition for a spot at Michael Waltrip Racing, and if they pass the driver's certification, they get a sponsored car. I remember when he would hop in anyone's car and demolish their time at Autocross. He's a fantastic kid and has a shot at getting to compete for a racing/R&D driving gig. He had to get out of his WRX a while back and had to stop racing, but the kid's a natural. Watching the video and voting here gets him votes. I think the top ten get to compete, and he just broke in to the top ten. You can click to vote 5 times daily, share on FB, e-mail, watching the video, that all gets points too. I've confirmed pit passes and 1st round on him once he's a rich and famous racer for the people who help. **BRENT**

I went shopping today. I took this picture and sent it to a few people. A little later, it was on the internets. **BRENT**
